My beloved brothers and sisters in our Savior Jesus Christ, let us on this day remember the wounds that our Savior felt, received and went through for our sake, when He offered His life and body as a living sacrifice holy and acceptable unto God, so that we can boldly say: "By His Wounds we are or was healed," both spiritually and physically Isaiah 53:5.
We should not only remember the great suffering of our Savior during the Feast of Passover and Easter, but all the year long, for as it is written in His Word, "it is the blood that maketh an atonement (or reconciliation) for our souls" as Papa God says in Leviticus 17:11 "For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul." And thank you Papa God!
For if it wasn't for His (Jesus') precious blood that was shed for us, from the moment that they scourged Him all the way to His death on the cross, we would not have any hope of ever receiving salvation from Hell and eternal life in Heaven, for just as the animals had to be sacrificed and their blood had to be shed, in order for the nation of Israel to be forgiven in the Old Testament in the Bible, in the book of Leviticus, so did Jesus blood had to be shed for us, so that we could be reconciled to the Father, as He was the Lamb sent to us by God (the Father).
And thank you LORD for Jesus, or I would've brought the wrong animal to be sacrificed for my sins, as the nation of Israel, used to have to offer a lot of different animals, and it was important to offer the correct one required by the Lord, depending on what type of sin they committed, in order for their sins to be forgiven.
So the Lord in His good mercy sent us Jesus, so it could be a ONE time offering of sacrifice for our sins, so we could enter into His rest, and no longer have to be bringing different animals, to be forgiven of our sins as it was also required to do by the High Priest, once a year.
Let us continually read Isaiah 53 especially verses: 3 -6 where it says: "He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: (till this day, our Lord IS still despised and is a man of sorrows, by the unbeliever and the rebellious in the Church, the false Church!) and we hid as it were our faces from Him; he was despised, and we esteemed Him not. Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, (God the Father) and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray: we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD (God the Father) hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all."
There is a beautiful song by Glory Revealed called "By His Wounds" in which you can listen to often and thank the Lord, for the wounds He received on your behalf, for He did not have to do this, but out of His great love for you and I, He did it and went through it, all the way to the cross, so we may live forever with Him in Heaven and not die spiritually and go to a burning Hell.
There is truly no love out there that can be compared and described to the love that God has for us, through Jesus Christ, His Son and our Lord. So let us remember to never take it for granted and show Him our appreciation, by abiding in Him, His Word and obeying Him daily.
Never be ashamed of the precious blood of Jesus, for truly, it is His blood that makes an atonement for our souls and speaks in Heaven on our behalf on the mercy seat of the ark of the covenant for our sins to continue to be forgiven by the Father, for when He sees the blood of Jesus on us and speaking on our behalf in Heaven, God the Father (our sweet Papa God) is satisfied, for there is no pure, sinless and holy blood that has lived, shed and been offered in this world on our behalf, but only the blood of Jesus, for as it is written in Romans 3:10 "There is none righteous, no not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God, They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one."
And let us also remember that "for the wages of sin is death, but that the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23.
