Keeping On The Full Armor Of Almighty God! By Nanyamka Boyer
Good day to you my beloved brother or sister in our Awesome Faithful and Lord and Blessed Savior Jesus Christ, our Strong Tower and Deliverer of our souls and trials. It is my prayer that this devotion finds you well and strong, both spiritually and physically, you and your loved ones and still abiding in the Lord, who is the ONLY hope and salvation of and for our souls! For we as Christians have the great advantage of having the Great I AM in this world and in our lives to keep and save our souls and lives and to not have to go through anything in this world without having the security and knowledge that He will deliver us, is for us and with us at ALL times.
For as it is written in the Book of Jeremiah the Prophet in Jeremiah 29:11-13 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you and expected end (or what you expect from the Lord according to His Word and will for your life). Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." For the Lord works behind the scenes in our lives and has a good plan for us His Saints and even for the unbeliever if they let Him in into their hearts and lives, as He works all things together for good or for the benefit of our souls and lives, both spiritually and physically, that we go through and will ever go through in our lives, as He says through the Apostle Paul in Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose."
So do not take the Lord and His presence in this world and in your life for granted, but greatly appreciate the truth that He greatly loves you and adores you and is there to help you. For we must remember to daily have the faith of God and have faith in God, knowing that the Lord is with you and I, especially in our darkest hours, as we walk through the valleys of the shadow of death in our lives and in this world, as He promised us in Psalm 23:4 "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." And in 1 Kings 8:12 "Then spake Solomon, The LORD said that He would dwell in the thick darkness."
Just be sure that you are in right standing with Him daily and that you are acknowledging Him in all of your ways through prayer, so He is in full control of your life and can direct your paths and life and not the enemy, who is Satan. For the Lord has promised us that our steps are ordered by Him, when we walk in and with Him in Psalm 37:23-24, by our beloved King David: "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and He delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with His hand."
On this day let us also remember that we are in a spiritual war continually against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places, who are the demons of Satan and we must daily put on the whole armor of God that He has given us, for our protection, salvation and deliverance of our souls, as it is written in Ephesians 6:10-13, by our beloved brother and Apostle Paul. "Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."
For we do not go to a war naked or without our military gear on, but fully dressed, equipped and trained in and for battle. For until our day to be with the Lord comes we will not be discharged in this spiritual war, as we are told in the Book of Solomon in Ecclesiastes 8:8 "There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it."
So be sure to wear your full armor at all times, for as the Lord has told me, we do not have an armor for the back, but just for the front. So never give the enemy your back because you are fleeing from him, but be fully courageous and stand being fully filled of and with the Holy Spirit of God. For remember that when the enemy will come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord is the ONE who will raise up a standard against him, through you, to fight for you and to protect you as well, as He promises us in Isaiah 59:19 "So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun (and this scripture is for the Saints now who believe in Him and also a prophecy for the future, when He comes back and reigns here on earth for the 1,000 years). When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him."
For remember that all things are by the Lord, for the Lord and through the Lord, through the Holy Spirit, as He tells us in Zechariah 4:6 "Then He answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubabbel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts." Also in Romans 11:36 "For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen." And in Colossians 1:16-17 "For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist."
So as the Lord through the Apostle Paul says in Ephesians 6:14-17, so let us daily obey the Lord and do, for our salvation and victory over the enemy and his demons. "Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth (that keeps us from believing the lies of Satan that are in this world and by speaking the Word of God to His lost and saved children), and having on the breastplate of righteousness (by being honest, humble and just to others, and by standing up for what is right in the Lord's eyes): And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace (by believing in the Lord and in His work on the Cross for us that puts us in right standing with God (the Holy Trinity) through Him and by abiding in peace, so we can have peace and walk in peace with others; Above all, taking the shield of faith (by believing that God will keep His promises to us and come through for us, when we need Him the most and are tempted to doubt Him and His love for us), wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation (by believing that Jesus Christ died for us and for our sins and rose again, and by believing in His Word to give us deliverance or salvation in times of warfare against the devil), and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (as it makes the devil flee and the Holy Spirit uses it to bring conviction to the unbeliever, to show them their need of the Savior, also by speaking life over our lives and circumstances and by the binding and of loosing, so they can be bound and loosed in heaven): Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit (by praying in tongues to those who have this precious gift and by being in God or born again and in His Spirit, when you pray), and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;."
And as the Lord reminds me to let you know to daily repent of your sins unto Him, so you can be forgiven and fast often, so I obey Him, as we more now than ever greatly need Him and to be sure that we are in right standing with Him, as He says in Joel 2:15-21 "Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet (or come out and seek the Lord). Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God? Then will the LORD be jealous for His land, and pity His people. Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto His people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen: But I will remove far off from you the northern army (back then the Chaldeans (or Nebuchadnezzar's army) now the Lord means demons, Satan's army), and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his savour shall come up, because He (the Lord) hath done great things. Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things."
Go with God, have a blessed, joyous and peaceful day and week, not doubting His love and faithfulness to you, but by standing strong in your love, walk and faith in your Beloved Groom, Husband and God! For He has promised us that He will never leave us nor forsake us, especially in our times of great trials and tribulations, and in the darkest times in this world, as He said through the Apostle Paul in Hebrews 13:5 "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Blessed be His Sweetest and Powerful Almighty Name, now and forever more! Amen!
