Sin: A Destroyer Of Our Souls! By Nanyamka Boyer
Good day to you my beloved brother or sister in our Mighty Redeemer and Beloved Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, our Beautiful Lily in our lives and storms of life! Blessed be His sweetest and mighty name, now and forever more! For He alone is our strength and only hope in life and in this world, both spiritually and physically. It is my prayer that as we continue to live in this world and daily go through trials and tribulations in our lives and in this world, that you are still standing upon the Holy and Mighty Word of God and are found faithful and strong in your spiritual walk and faith in the Lord!
For we must remain in right standing before God daily, as the night approaches and His day draws near, as it is written in His Word by the Lord Himself, when He first came to us 2,000 years ago to save our souls in the Gospel of John in John 9:4 "I must work the works of Him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work." And here the Lord means: "work the works of His Kingdom, by the preaching of the Gospel, for great darkness is coming upon the whole earth, worse than what it is happening now, as written in His Word, especially in the Book of Revelation before His Second Coming in the clouds and at the Battle of Armageddon. For we must not lose our faith and focus on Him, especially when our crosses get heavier on us, as our trials and tribulations increase. For as His beloved children or Saints, we must be purified and go through the fire spiritually, as we go through the sanctification process, in order so we can be and be able to stand holy, pure and clean before Him, and be as He is at the Judgment seat of Christ.
For remember that it is written that without holiness no man will see the Lord, as we read in Hebrews 12:14-15 "Follow peace with all men, and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled." For also the trials of our faith works in us patience and long-suffering, as we read in James 1:3-4 "Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing."
And as the Lord reminds me and as there are and will be days in our lives that are harder than others for us to go through, we must greatly rely upon the Lord and upon His grace to sustain us. For remember that His love and grace are what carries us through life, as it is sufficient or enough to see us through our trials, as He promised our beloved brother and mighty Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:8-9, when he faced his own great trial and tribulation in his life. "For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." And as the trials continue to come, ask the Lord to grant you more grace. And His Holy Spirit will sustain you, as He lives in your spirit and heart. For remember that it is not by power, nor by might, but by His Spirit that the Lord accomplishes all things in this world, as the Father says in Zechariah 4:6 "Then He answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts."
On this day let us also remember that sin is a destroyer of our souls, lives and eternal future with and in God. And we must daily remember to stay free and not yield to the temptations of the enemy that causes us to sin against the Lord and others. For remember that we must bring every thought into captivity and cast it out of our minds, so it doesn't have the dominion over us, as we yield to the Holy Spirit, through His Word and submit to Him, as we are commanded by the Lord to do, through His beloved Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 10:4-6 "(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled."
For remember that the Lord says that the soul that sins is the servant or slave of sin and it shall die, when He spoke to the Jews who did not believe in Him, as we read in the Gospel of John in John 8:21 "Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come." Also in John 8:34-36, the Lord says: "Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." And in Ezekiel 18:20 God the Father tells us: "The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him."
For once saved is not always saved, as the devil would have you believe and through those that are false Christians, and love darkness rather than light. For what changed in the New Testament from the Old, is the only thing that the Lord has changed and no more and no less, as the Lord would say. For remember that the Lord Himself said in the Gospel of Matthew in Matthew 5:17-20 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven." So love the truth, who is the Lord Jesus Christ and never compromise your salvation and faith in Him!
For also remember that we are commanded of the Lord through Paul the Apostle in Philippians 2:12, and this is in the New Testament: "Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." And by this he means: by being in fear of the Lord all the day long, as you remember that He is a Consuming Fire. For the Lord can require our souls at any time of the day, as He spoke in the parable of the rich man who wanted to build greater barns to store his fruits and goods and the Lord required his soul that night, as we read in Luke 12:16-21, you can read the whole parable in Luke, but we will read what God the Father told him in Luke 12:20 "But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?" So always be ready to stand before the Son of God to give Him an account of your life, for life is short and we don't know when our name or soul will be called or required by the Lord. And as the Lord reminds me to give you this Word of what He says in the Gospel of Matthew in Matthew 10:28, so I obey Him: "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him (God the Father) which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."
Also remember what the Lord through the Apostle Paul warned us and commands us to not entangle ourselves in any yoke of bondage, for the sake of our freedom spiritually from the enemy, as we read in Galatians 5:1 "Stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." And this includes: the yoke of sin, false doctrines that are not of God and leads us astray from Him, which are of the flesh, the world and from Satan. For as the Lord promised us, as we just read in the Gospel of John in John 8:36 "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." So always remain free spiritually in the Lord and love your soul, by taking care of it, as the Lord says in the Gospel of Luke in Luke 21:19 "In your patience possess ye your souls."
Go with God, have a blessed, peaceful and joyous day and week, remembering that even though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, the Lord is with us every second of the day, still loves us and cares about us. And will not leave us in our trials, but will see us through and bring us through them, as He promises us in Psalm 34:19 "Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all." Also in Psalm 37:25, King David gives us his testimony of his walk with God: "I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread." And in Psalm 30:5, He also promises us: "For His anger endureth but a moment; in His favour is life: weeping may endure for a night (or for a season), but joy cometh in the morning."
And as the Lord reminds me to give you this Word, so you can stay focused on Him and on what is important and eternal, so I write what He says in 2 Corinthians 4:18 through our beloved Paul the Apostle: "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." So keep your eyes on eternity, even as sometimes in your life, you go through hell and back, and let no man or thing in life ever divert you from your faith, love for God, salvation and walk with God. For they too will have to stand before Him on Judgment Day and have to give Him an account of their lives, no matter what their earthly status quo was. So stay strong and focused on the Lord, always!!
