Recognizing The Voice Of God! By Nanyamka Boyer
Good day to you my beloved brother or sister in our Beloved and Blessed Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, our Comfort and Security in Life! It is my prayer that on this day you and your loved ones are both healthy and strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, both spiritually and physically and not fearful, as we are seeing these calamities and last evil days unfold before our eyes. For remember that these are the days that the Lord warned us about now almost 2,000 years ago in His Word that would come to pass, as we read in the parable of the fig tree and all the trees in the Gospel of Luke in Luke 21:29-33 "And He spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; When they now shoot forth (or blossom), ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is at hand. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away." For I believe the Lord means this generation that we are now in that will usher His Second Coming.
So be not fearful or in fear, but believing, as the Lord said to Jairus, after they of his household told him that his daughter had died, and now also says to you and I to comfort us and strengthen our faith in Him in the Gospel of Mark in Mark 5:36 "As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe." And knowing that these things must come to pass as they are written in God's Holy Word, the Bible, for as every promise of the First Four Feasts of Israel about His First Coming were fulfilled in Him in the New Testament, so will the remaining Three Feasts concerning His Second Coming and the Prophecies concerning the calamities or tribulations, the seven year reign of the Anti-Christ, the Rapture of the Saints and His Second Coming for His 1,000 year reign, has to also be fulfilled. For remember that the Lord cannot lie and He showed us these things through His beloved Prophets and Saints of old, so that we would be ready and not caught off guard as the world now is, as these things continue to be fulfilled.
For as He has said in the Gospel of Luke in Luke 21:33 "Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away." And as the Lord wants me to give you this Word for your comfort and hope in Him, fully knowing that He is in control of all things that happen and are happening in this world, so I obey Him, in which He says to us in the Book of Psalms by our beloved and mighty King David in Psalm 46:10 "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth."
For remember that our Lord and Beloved God is before all things that happen in this world, as the Lord says through our beloved brother and mighty Paul the Apostle in Romans 11:36 "For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen." And in Colossians 1:16-17 "For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist." For He is Omniscient or All-knowing, and no-thing (as the Lord would say), happens by chance. For whether we live or die, as it is written in His Word, we are His, as we read in Romans 14:8 "For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's." And as I hear Him say to remind you of what He says in the Book of the Prophet Ezekiel in Ezekiel 18:4, so I write: "Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die."
So have no fear, but daily spend time with the Lord, so you can be strengthened in your faith and walk with and in Him, and also be perfected in His love. For remember that perfect love or His love that is perfect and that would be in you, if you spend time with Him daily and continually, will be perfected in your heart and soul, as we read by the Lord through John the Beloved Apostle in 1 John 4:18 "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love."
On this day let us also remember that the Lord daily is available to us to help us, and to speak to us in many different ways, for our direction, comfort, wisdom, deliverance and perfect will for our lives. For as we go through our own dark night of the soul in our lives and valleys of the shadow of death, we need to be able to recognize His will and voice in and for our lives to deliver us from evil or from the evil one who is Satan. For remember that he (Satan) also comes to us as an angel of light or as an angel of God to misguide us and dupe us into making un-godly and un-wise decisions. For the Lord has promised us in His Word, and as He reminds me, so I could let you know what He says in the Book of the Prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 30:21 "And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left."
For He also says in His Word that He speaks to man (the believer and the unbeliever), once and twice throughout the day, but we do not perceive it. So He, as He greatly loves us and wants to help us, so that we do not die and end up in hell for lack of knowledge of His Word or truth and will for us, for our success in our souls and in life, gives us His direction or instructions in our sleep, as we dream, as we read in the Book of Job in Job 33:14-15 "For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then He openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction. That He may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man. He keepeth back his soul from the pit (or hell), and his life from perishing by the sword."
Remember that the Lord has embedded into us His sheep or beloved Saints, the ability to hear His voice and to recognize it, when He speaks, as He says in the Gospel of John in John 10:2-5 "But He that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear His voice: and He calleth His own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when He putteth forth His own sheep, He goeth before them, and the sheep follow Him: for they know His voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers." Also in John 10:27-28, the Lord says: "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." Also what He told those Jews who did not believe in Him in John 8:47 "He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God." And also what the Lord Jesus told Pilate at His trial in John 18:37 about those who are of the truth or of Him who love the truth: "Pilate therefore said unto Him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice."
For the Lord speaks to us from His Word, the Holy Bible, His servants the Prophets, the Pastors, Elders and Saints of His Beloved Church of those who truly love Him and daily follow Him, carrying their crosses. He also speaks to us through common sense and wisdom, through circumstances, also when He closes a door and opens another, through sign posts along the way, like a Billboard, dreams and visions of the night and visions of the day while awake. For no-thing and no way of speaking will ever be too hard for God to do and for us, for He will speak to us through a donkey, if He has to, as He did with Baalam, as we read in Numbers 22:21-39. For He will also bring to our remembrance what He has said to us already in His Word through the Faithful and Mighty Holy Spirit, as He promised us in John 14:26-31 "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."
Also through the unbeliever, He will speak to you and I, when what they say agrees with His Word, character and ways like He did with Gideon in the Book of Judges in Judges 7:9-14 "And it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Arise, get thee down unto the host: for I have delivered it into thine hand. But if thou fear to go down, go thou with Phurah thy servant down to the host: And thou shalt hear what they say; and afterward shall thine hands be strengthened to go down unto the host. Then went he down with Phurah his servant unto the outside of the armed men that were in the host. And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the east lay along in the valley like grasshoppers for multitude; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the sea side for multitude. And when Gideon was come, behold, there was a man that told a dream unto his fellow, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dream, and, lo, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the host of Midian, and came unto a tent, and smote it that it fell, and overturned it, that the tent lay along. And his fellow answered and said, This is nothing else save the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel: for into his hand hath God delivered Midian, and all the host."
But remember to always pray before you make any decision or assume that it is the Lord's voice or will for you. For this is why He commands us to first acknowledge Him in all of our ways, so He can direct our paths in Proverbs 3:6 "In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." And also in Proverbs 16:3, He says to: "Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established." So always pray without ceasing for wisdom, direction, discernment (to know what is of God and what is not), and for protection in your life and He will keep you in His perfect peace and in His perfect will for you, as you obey Him and follow Him!
Go with God, have a blessed day and a peaceful, joyous and blessed week, not abiding in fear, but in the Lord Jesus Christ, our Strong and Mighty Tower. Remembering that we as His beloved children and Holy Saints, through Him and by Him, can do all things through Him who strengthens us to do it, even to walk through the valley of the shadow of death, and trials and tribulations. For remember that He will never leave us nor forsake us and will carry our burdens and sorrows, as we daily give them to Him to handle. Also remember that as the Lord says in Proverbs 4:7-9 "Wisdom is the principal thing (I believe the Lord means in life), therefore get wisdom and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee."
For remember that wisdom gives life to those who have it, as we read in Ecclesiastes 7:12 "For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the exellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it." So daily love and use wisdom who is the Lord God Almighty, Jesus Christ our Lord and Beloved Mighty Savior! Blessed be His holy name! Also as He says to us, for our remembrance, so I write what He says in Luke 21:34-36 "And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (cause (someone) to desire no more of something (or the Lord, I believe in this case) as a result of having consumed or done it to excess.), and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." And in Luke 21:28 "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh."
