The Fear Of The Lord

The Fear Of The Lord by Nanyamka Boyer

Greetings to you my beloved brother or sister in our Wonderful Counselor, Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, our Guide and Sustenance in this world. It is my prayer that you are enjoying this day and all is well with you and yours, both spiritually and physically.

On this day and every day, let us  remember to fear the Lord, for it is the fear of the Lord that is the beginning of wisdom in this world and in our lives. For no other fear will lead us to heaven, as it says in Proverbs 9:10 "The Fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy (who is the LORD, for the Lord alone is Holy) is understanding."

And to depart from evil is understanding as it is written in His Word in Job 28:28 "And to man He said, Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding." So let us daily fear the Lord, so we can gain His wisdom and gain understanding that we need in this world to help us make it, by departing from evil.

And although we are in the period of the year of the Lord or of the Lord's amazing Grace to mankind to receive forgiveness through our Lord Jesus Christ, so we can be in right standing with God the Father, and with the Holy Trinity, let us never assume and forget that we can sin and not receive His judgments for sinning against Him.

For if you read the book of Numbers, you will see that the Lord is a consuming fire and will NOT be mocked. And as He has and continues to judge His people, the Nation of Israel, we the Gentile nations will not escape His wrath, if we choose to continue to sin against Him.

And as Paul the Apostle wrote in the book of Galatians 6:7-8 "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth; that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that Soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting."

So Saints of God and my fellow man who does not have Jesus, as your personal Savior and Lord, please know and remember that your sin will find you out if you continue to sin and not repent of them to the Lord, for repentance also means turning away from your sins.

So if you continue to sin or serve sin, then be sure that as Moses said in Numbers 32:23 "But if ye will not do so, Behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out." For the Lord sees all things, hears all things and knows all things.

So let us be wise and take heed, for truly it is the fear of the LORD that is the beginning of wisdom and to depart from evil is understanding. For we can't bargain with the God of Israel, so we MUST submit to Him and to His ways, which lead us onto life eternal, which is for our own good. For remember the Lord is not a respecter of persons, for He judges accordingly and will judge all of us His creation, accordingly, now and at the Judgment Seat of Christ for the Saints and later on the unbeliever at the Great White Throne Judgment, after the resurrection of the damned that are in hell.

Go with God and have a blessed, joyous and peaceful week, remembering that wisdom gives life to them who have it, as it is written in the Book of Ecclesiastes written by the Lord through King Solomon in Ecclesiastes 7:12 "For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is that wisdom giveth life to them that have it." So ask the Lord for His wisdom, so you can daily succeed in life!
