Waiting On The Lord, While Walking Through Shadows By Nanyamka Boyer
My fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, on this day if you are walking through shadows or through the valley of the shadow of death and can't see the Lord's hand working on your behalf in your life and circumstances, as I myself am from time to time, for none of us are immune from the attacks of our old enemy, satan. Know that our God is working behind the scenes and will soon show up and come through for us.
The Lord also wants you to be and remain strong in and for Him and to lift up your eyes unto the hills from whence cometh your help, For your help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth, for He will not suffer thy foot to be moved, as He says in Psalms 121.
I know that it can be very tiring at times to wait on the Lord and hard to walk by faith, for we are walking with the knowledge of the truth in our hearts and not by what we can see in the natural realm, when we are going through trials and tribulations. And not see the Lord work on our behalf immediately, but that is why we must come to the Lord and seek His face in prayer and ask Him to give us His grace (or strength), direction and wisdom that we need to see us through that trial, we are going through, because we were not created to go through things alone in this world.
Remember that the Lord is also with us, when we are walking through the valley of the shadow of death, as He promises us through King David in Psalms 23 that He does and will continue to do.
So let us hold on to our faith and continue to wait on the Lord to strengthen our hearts, as He says to do in Psalms 27: 14, for He will not leave us, nor forsake us, for our hope and faith in Him, is not in vain. I encourage you to read books of testimonies of the Lord's faithfulness and as King David recorded his own testimonies of the Lord's faithfulness in his life, I recommend you to do the same. I have testimonies written in all of my books of the Lord's faithfulness in my life and they will also encourage you and minister to your spirit.
Remember how the Lord showed His faithfulness and mercies to Job and restored unto him, all that the devil had stolen from him in the book of Job. So let us always be like the Apostle Paul who did not let none of his trials move him in Acts 20: 24. So don't give up!!
