Blessing The Lord And Forgetting Not His Benefits! By Nanyamka Boyer
Good day to you my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, may you continue to still stand and be found in and following our Lord Jesus Christ, as the days continue to grow darker and darker in this world, until the second coming of the Lord. Let us on this day remember the benefits God the Father has bestowed upon us, for being children of God (the Holy Trinity), through Jesus Christ His Son and by the righteousness He imputed upon us, by the accomplishment of Jesus on the cross.
Let us on this day and daily remember the benefit of salvation, which is not only the benefit of eternal life, but also the benefit of deliverance from our trials and tribulations that we find ourselves in, after having fervently sought Him, for His deliverance in our lives, out of that situation.
Let us also remember the benefit of forgiveness from the Lord, for if it wasn't for His daily forgiveness towards us, as we seek Him for forgiveness of our sins by confessing them to Him, daily in prayer, we would not be forgiven. For we know that as He promises us in 1 John 1: 9 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (saint and sinner alike). Let us also remember to thank Him for removing our transgressions, as far as the east is from the west from us, as it says in Psalms 103: 12 "As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us."
Let us also daily remember the benefit of receiving His healing touch whether spiritually, emotionally, mentally or physically, for as He promises us in Exodus 15: 26 "And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in His sight, and wilt give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians (now the unbeliever): for I am the LORD that healeth thee."
Also let us never forget, that because of our sins the Lord was wounded for our transgressions, let's read what in says in Isaiah 53: 5 "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed." So let us thank Him daily, for the benefit of healing, no matter in which form He chooses to heal us, whether it is through doctors or medicine, or by His own hand through His Holy Spirit, for the Lord is a big God and we must not have Him or keep Him in a box, for religious spirits in the religious (those who don't have a relationship with the Lord or walk with God) will always limit Him and His working hand in the earth. For if He wanted to only work in a certain way on our behalf, He would've not provided us other options to help us in our times of need in this world.
Let us also remember the benefit of provision whether spiritually or physically, for and in our lives, for our God daily supplies all of our needs according to His riches in glory by His Son Jesus Christ, as He promises us through the Apostle Paul and that He will continue to do, for our God can not lie, as He says in Numbers 23:19, and in Philippians 4: 19 "But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Also the Lord reminded me to let you know what He says in Matthew 6:33 " But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
So please do not forget to seek Him daily in His Word for your own good in prayer, praise and worship, by communicating with Him throughout your day and by seeking Him in books, movies, music that will draw you closer to Him and wherever He chooses to lead you, so you can find Him besides His house of prayer, for you can also find Him by fellowshipping with His saints and in His Words of His true servants the Prophets. So let us daily be like King David was when he was young and old, where he says in Psalms 37 :25 "I have been young and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed (or the children of the righteous) begging bread."
Last but not least, let us daily remember the benefit of the precious blood of Jesus, upon us and for us, for as it is written in Leviticus 17: 11 "For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul." For the blood of Jesus is what saves us and cleanses us from all unrighteousness and is used in heaven to wipe our books of the records of our lives clean, as it also speaks on our behalf on the mercy seat of the ark of the covenant that is in heaven, pleading for mercy for us, so that we are not judged as we deserve. So thank the Lord Jesus, for His precious blood for there's truly power in His blood, power to save us, heal us, and power to make the devil and his demons flee and tremble from us, at it's presence upon us and as we plead it daily over ourselves, our loved ones, our possessions and over our lives, the devil and his demons also flee and tremble at the precious name of Jesus!!
So let us daily remember to not take the Lord's benefits that He accomplished for us at the cross for granted, so please remember to show your God your appreciation daily, by blessing His holy name and soul, as it says in Psalms 103 to do. I recommend for you to read it every so often, so you can remember His love and benefits He bestows upon you, through His Son Jesus.
For His love and benefits has truly been given to us at the cost of the shedding of His blood, since the garden of Gethsemane (remember He sweated great drops of blood there while He prayed) all the way to His death on the cross, because of His (the Holy Trinity) great love for us! Blessed be His holy name!!
