Leaning On The Lord's Wisdom

Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, may you be on this day and every day, in the joy of the Lord and in good health, and if not know that the Lord is our hope and our strength, both spiritually and physically in this world  and that He will see you through whatever it is that you are going through.

On this day let us remember to lean on our Lord's wisdom and not on our own understanding, as the Lord commands us to do in Proverbs 3: 5, for as He tells us in Isaiah 55: 8-9 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways."

So as we see the Lord's ways and His wisdom are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. We as humans are not going to understand the Lord's ways and wisdom, especially during times when He is silent in our lives and not revealing His plan to us or when we feel forgotten or abandoned by Him. And as you can see I said feel, but we must not go by our feelings as we live in this world, for the heart is deceitful and desperately wicked, as the Lord says in His Word, for our feelings can be deceitful as our heart also is, and we must ONLY rely by facts, ALWAYS or by what the truth is that the Lord says to us in His Word, which is: that He will never leave us nor forsake us, as He promises us in Hebrews 13: 5. And "Fear thou not; for I am with thee; be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness" in Isaiah 41: 10-13.

For the Lord has reminded me that when He is silent in our lives or when we are going through the dark night of the soul, it is because He through the trial of our faith is working patience in us, as James says in James 1: 3 "Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience."

And not because He has forgotten about us or has abandoned us. So let us remain faithful to Him even when all of heaven is silent and we are waiting on the Lord to come through for us, for it is during these times that the Lord is also testing our hearts to see if we will remain faithful to Him, still love Him and still seek Him.

Remember that the Lord's understanding is infinite, as it says in Psalms 147: 5. So let us continue to be strong in and for Him and truly trust Him with all of our hearts and lean not on our understanding, for it will fail us.

And remember to seek His face in prayer for wisdom and direction in and for your life in His Word, so He can strengthen and encourage you and also through praise and worship. Don't give up and continue to hold on to your faith, daily!
