Let Us Not Fear!

Let Us Not Fear! By Nanyamka Boyer

My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, it is my prayer that you are having a blessed day and abiding in our Lord's amazing grace, peace and Loving arms. Let us on this day remember to not walk in fear, but only abide in the fear of the Lord all the day long, as it says in His Word for us to do, which is our reverence and respect towards Him, for who He is, which is God Almighty!

But let us not abide in the fear of the world, which has torment, as we are living in perilous times and in the last days, before the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. For we already do know, by the Lord that in this world, we shall have tribulation, as He tells us in John 16:33, and that these things must come to pass, so we shouldn't be caught off guard.

Let us remember that the Lord also tells us throughout His Word, to not fear, for as the Lord told us through the Apostle John in 1 John 4:18 "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love."

Let us also read some of the promises of our Lord, where He tells us to fear not in His Word. As we now see in Joshua 8:1 "And the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear not, neither be thou dismayed..." And in Joshua 10:8 "And the Lord said unto Joshua, Fear them not: for I have delivered them into thine hand; there shall not a man of them (or the wicked) stand before thee." And in Isaiah 41:10 "Fear thou not: for I am with thee; be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee: yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." And thank you Lord for your faithful promises!

And the Lord has just reminded me to give you also these scriptures, where He speaks in Psalm 37:1-3 "Fret not thyself because of evil doers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed." And in Psalm 37: 7-11 "Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shall diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace." The Lord and I recommend you to read the whole Psalm, to strengthen your faith, walk and hope in Him.

So my brethren, please remember to walk in love and in forgiveness before the Lord, as I myself have to remind myself quite often, for the Lord and I myself know that it is not easy, as I myself have to deal with persecutions often, but so did the Lord.

But in order for us to be forgiven by the Father, we must forgive. So ask the Lord to give you His grace, to walk in love, to forgive the unlovable, the ungodly, those who trespass against us. For we know that we "wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places," as Paul the Apostle says in Ephesians 6:12.

So let us daily remember to see all things, through  the Lord's eyes and in the spirit and not through the flesh. And to not let the devil, that old wicked vicious serpent, take away our joy in the Lord and our peace.

For remember that he is a defeated foe and the one who has that one trapped in his deceit and grip, as they (or the old man) have not been crucified with Jesus at the cross.

God bless you my beloved brother and sister in the Lord Jesus Christ, and remember to abide in Him, in His Word and ways daily, so that you may make it. We are almost home, so don't give up!!
