Remembering Our Lord And Savior Jesus Christ, During This Holiday Season By Nanyamka Boyer
Beloved brethren in our Sweet and Faithful Savior, Jesus Christ, as we enter another season of Holiday Celebrations, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. Let us remember that our blessings are also given to us throughout the year, from our Beloved Savior and Lord Jesus Christ and NOT only on Thanksgiving Days. And we should remember to thank Him, on a daily basis and NOT only once a year on Thanksgiving Day, but all the year long, as He alone has and is and will continue to be faithful to us daily, in providing unto us everything we need in this world, whether it is a spiritual, emotional, mental, physical or financial need. For He is also the Great I Am of our lives and souls!
For as it is written in Philippians 4:19 "But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now unto God and our Father be glory forever and ever. Amen." As Paul the Apostle tells us, but let us also remember to "seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you," as the Lord says in Matthew 6:33. And with this He means all of our needs, (not our wants, for remember IS NOT about us, but about Him, and Him working or building His character in us) that man daily needs, as well as our hearts desires, if they are according to His will for our lives, for remember, our Heavenly Father knows best!
Let us also remember the poor and needy on Thanksgiving and Christmas, especially of those from the household of God, for our brothers and sisters in Christ come first as well as the Jews, the Nation of Israel, as they are His ancient and beloved people. The Lord wants me to remind you what He says in James 1:27 through His beloved brother James that: "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world."
Also as Christmas approaches let us remember to serve our Lord and to honor Him and Him alone, as we can not serve two masters, by acknowledging a lie from the pit of Hell, through Satan, which is by lying to our children about Santa Claus, for we should be teaching them and the lost ONLY the truth and to fear (or reverence) the Lord only, for we know that it is NOT true. And the Lord has told me that: "If it's NOT of God, it's NOT from God!" For lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, as He says in Proverbs 12:22 "Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are His delight." And also the Lord says in Matthew 6:24 "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other: or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye can not serve God and mammon (or wealth or another master) in this world, but JESUS alone!
And the Lord has also reminded me to tell you what He says through the Apostle John in 1 John 2:21 "I have not written unto you because ye know the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth."
My beloved brethren for when we practice such lies that ARE NOT OF GOD, but from the world or I should say from the Prince of this world, who is satan, our ancient enemy, we serve two masters and love not the TRUTH, who is Jesus, our Savior and provoke Him to anger and to jealousy. Remember that He is a jealous God, as He says in Exodus 34:14 " For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.." And also a consuming fire, as He says in Deuteronomy 4:24 "For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God."
For if He had to judge Aaron's sons in Leviticus 10:1 for offering Him strange fire, which He commanded them not, how much more would He judge us who are Gentiles, if we trample under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood, of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, and unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of Grace?" as the Lord says through the Apostle Paul in Hebrews 10:29. For the things of God are holy, and we must not mock Him or we will be judged if we continue to refuse Him and refuse to obey and to keep His commandments. Remember that as Christians, we must set an example for the world to follow and for them to learn to fear the Lord, for who He is, which is God Almighty!
So let us put away all things that are not of God and things that offend Him and serve Him only. For remember that if He would've not sent us Jesus, we would be without hope in this world for our souls concerning things in this life, as well as concerning things eternal which concerns our salvation and would remain dead in our sins and trespasses against Him. So let us show Him our gratitude, respect and appreciation this Christmas season, as well as throughout the whole year, by truly giving Him our hearts, lives and obedience, for that is the most precious gift He desires from us and that we could ever give Him, because it is a priceless gift and He honors those who honor Him, as He says in 1 Samuel 2:30.
