New And Fresh Beginnings In The Lord!

Updated: Apr 17, 2023

By Nanyamka Boyer

Greetings my beloved brothers and sisters in our only hope in this world, who is our Beloved Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. It is my prayer that as you are enjoying these last days of this year with your loved ones, that you remember, that the Lord makes all things new in our lives as we yield to Him daily, and after He brings us out of a fiery trial.

Let us also remember on this day, as we approach the New Year, that there's hope in the Lord, to rebuild our lives and to start afresh and a new beginning in and with Him! For as the Lord through the Apostle Paul tells us, when we are born again in 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." So does the Lord continues to work in our lives and to make things new in it for us, to refresh our lives.

And also as we have not been consumed by the Lord, because His mercies are new every morning towards us, as He promises us through the Prophet Jeremiah in Lamentations 3: 22-23 "It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."

So it is also that He hopes that we His saints, will obey Him and submit to Him on that day and every day and He also gives us His grace afresh and new to us, so we can obey Him and be able to stand after having done all to stand. And to the unbeliever, we know that He continues to wait on them, for their repentance and does not as of yet cuts them off, as great is His love towards them and also to us, His beloved saints.

Saints, the Lord wants you to know and to remember what He says to us what He will give you, in Isaiah 61:3 "To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He might be glorified."

So know that the Lord is in the business of restoration, as He did with Job, after he lost everything he had, including his seven sons and three daughters, for our God is loving, full of compassion and merciful towards us and turns our ugly trials in our lives, into beauty.

So if you have backslid and left the Lord, or do not know Him, as your personal Savior and Lord, come to or back to Him, as the story the Lord Jesus gives us of the Prodigal Son, in the gospel of Luke 15:11-32. For He did not come here 2,000 years ago to condemn you and He is also not here now through His Holy Spirit, to condemn you, but to save you. And know that He wants to turn your life around for your good and to give you a new and a fresh beginning in and with Him, a hope and a future, as He says in Jeremiah 29:11, here on earth and in Heaven.

And if you are His child, through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, then know that the Lord continues to turn your life around for your good, to give you a new and a fresh beginning, here on earth and in Heaven, as He puts us through the spiritual fire, as it says in Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose."

So that we can enjoy the spiritual life, that He died for us to obtain and be as He is holy, for remember that as it is written in Hebrews 12:14 "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.."

So my beloved brothers and sisters in our Beloved Savior Jesus Christ, let us continue to be strong, resist the devil, trust in the Lord and in His wisdom, and to hold on to the Anchor of our souls who is Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, as it is also written in His Word. And let us continue to hope in Him, as we enter the New Year and remember His promise that He gives us, through the Apostle John, in Revelation 21:5 "And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful."

Have a blessed and a Happy New 2018 Year and remember to keep your eyes upon Jesus, for as you do, all the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace, as the old Hymn says. Blessed be His Holy name!
