Walking Humbly With Your God!

Updated: May 17, 2021

Good day to you my beloved brother or sister in Christ, may you be in good health, be found abiding in the Lord and be having a blessed day on this day.

Let us on this day remember to continue to stay humble and to walk humbly with our God, by not thinking that we have arrived and no longer need His council through His Word and beloved Saints, also His help and direction in and for our lives. For remember what our Lord says through His beloved brother and Apostle James in James 4:6 "But He giveth more grace. Wherefore He saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble."

Let us also remember to continue to do justly or what is the right thing to do before His eyes, according to His commandments that He gives us in His Word, toward others. For remember what He tells us in Matthew 7:12 "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets."

And in Luke 6:31 "And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise." And what He also commands us to do in Mark 12:30-31 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these."

Let us also remember to love mercy as the Lord tells us in Micah 6:8, by giving it to others when they do not deserve it, when they have sinned or trespassed against us willfully or unwilfully, as we ourselves do not deserve it from God and yet it is given to us freely by the Lord, when He forgives us of our sins, when we repent and confess them to Him in prayer. And when He gives it to us freely through others, through His grace, which is His unmerited favor toward us His children, through Jesus and to His creation (the ungodly). Also when we are in need to find favor in the eyes of those we hope to receive compassion, mercy and help from.

Let us also give or show His love and mercy to the Poor, the Homeless, the Orphans and the Widows who are the heart of God, as He cares deeply for them. For they do not have anyone to help and sustain them in this world. But only through us His beloved saints and beloved children, the godly in Christ. For remember what our Lord says in Proverbs 19:17 "He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will He pay him again." And what He also tells us in Matthew 25:35-46 that He will say unto us at the last day, when we stand before Him on Judgment Day, but we will focus on verse 40, in which He says: "And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."

So let us daily remember what our Lord says and commands us to do, by submitting to the Lord, through the Holy Spirit, to continue to love His beloved children, saints and sinners alike with His love, compassion and mercy, especially the sick, the Poor of this world, the Homeless, the Orphans and the Widows. As His love has been shed abroad in our hearts, by the Holy Ghost, as the Lord through Paul the Apostle tells us in Romans 5:5 "And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us (the saints)."

Also remember to stay humble and to walk humbly with your God, so He can continue to stay close to you, for we all need Him, for remember what He also says through His brother James in James 4:6 that He resists the proud, but gives His grace to the humble.

So let us remember that pride pushes Him away from us. So let us take heed when we are prideful and walk in and with pride towards our fellow man, who are His children, saints and sinners alike.

Go with God and have a blessed day and please remember to continue to abide in Jesus, by abiding in His Word, by prayer and by the keeping of His commandments. For there is no other way in this world to make it through life and to Heaven. And to have the peace, joy, comfort, hope, strength and direction we daily need in and for our lives, but in Him only!

So as you can see, we need Him, so let us be wise and use wisdom, for as it is written in Ecclesiastes 7:12 "For wisdom is a  defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it."
