The Strength And Power Of God: The Holy Spirit! By Nanyamka Boyer
Greetings my beloved brothers and sisters in our Blessed and Faithful Savior, Jesus Christ. May this day find you healthy, strong and abiding in the Lord and in His Word! Let us this day remember that the Lord through His Holy Spirit, gives us His grace or strength that we need to seek Him (Jesus) daily, to stand after having done all to stand, the strength to live and move and have our being, as the Lord through the Apostle Paul tells us in Acts 17:28 "For in Him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also His offspring."
We also learn through the Word of God, the Bible, that the Holy Spirit is the One who enables us to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, with courage, power, boldness and might to reach the lost and to discern what is of God and what is not. For remember what the Lord through His Word says in Zechariah 4:6 "Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the Word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts." So we learn and understand by this scripture that the Lord accomplishes His will and all things in this world and in our lives, through His Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit as we know is also the One whom the Lord Jesus Christ, comforts us, when we are down in our spirits, and broken hearted, for as the Lord through Paul the Apostle says in 2 Corinthians 1:3 "Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort.."
So if you are feeling left out right now in this world and feel like no one cares about you and about your well being, please know that there is a God in the Heavens and here on earth, by the Holy Spirit, who loves you greatly, cares about you and comforts you through His Holy Spirit, when you are alone and through others.
So your hope and faith in Him is not in vain and your strength in Him is renewed like the eagles, as He promises those who wait upon Him in Isaiah 40:31 "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint."
We also learn that through the Holy Spirit, the love of God (the Holy Trinity) is shed abroad in our hearts, when we get saved or are born again, so we can walk in His love and be able to love others with His love including the ungodly, even our enemies, as it says in Romans 5:5 "And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us."
So know that when it seems impossible to forgive and love your enemies, as the Lord commands us to do in His Word, so we can also be forgiven by the Father of our sins that we have committed against Him. The Lord through His faithful, Loving and Patient Holy Spirit, will flow through us towards others, especially towards those who greatly need Him and will allow us to feel His love, His understanding of their broken hearts, their spiritual condition and His compassion that He has towards them.
And will remind us that the battle belongs to Him and that we are not wrestling with flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers of darkness, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places, which are the demons of Satan and the devil himself, who is the Prince of this world and of the power of the air, as the Lord through the Apostle Paul, tells us in Ephesians 6:12-19. So we can have His wisdom, compassion and understanding and let none of the things the devil throws at us and also through his own, the ungodly, move us, as He enabled our beloved brother Paul the Apostle, to confess and practice in his lifetime.
So let us daily remember to pray, seek the Lord's face, study His Word, so He can then through His Holy Spirit flow through us and give us His answer to our prayers, His wisdom, knowledge, understanding and give us His power and strength to resist the devil and witness the gospel on His behalf and fight the good fight of faith and to never give up on God!
So continue to abide in Jesus and to remember that apart from Him we can do nothing and are nothing (or victorious) in this world! But with Him and through Him, we can do ALL things, and He strengthens us, as the Apostle Paul testified in Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!"
