The Faithfulness of God

The Faithfulness of God! By Nanyamka Boyer

My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, it is my prayer that on this day, you are found in good health and in good spirits in the Lord, even if all of Hell is breaking loose in your life. For remember that the battle belongs to the Lord. On this day the Lord, wants to encourage you and remind you that though you may be walking through the valley of the shadow of death or through trials and tribulations in your life, that He dwells in the thick darkness, or in our darkest hour of suffering in this world, as King Solomon said in 1 Kings 8:12 "Then spake Solomon, The LORD said that He would dwell in the thick darkness."

So know that the Lord is there with you, as you are going through hell and back or through the fire of purification in your life, for the testing of your faith in Him and also for the purpose, to burn off from you those sins that offend the Lord that are not of Him, like the sins of anger, bitterness, hatred, un-forgiveness, pride, arrogance, selfishness, self-righteousness, self-centeredness and all the sins that offend and separates us from God. For sin separates us from Him.

Let us also remember His promise that He gives us in Isaiah 41:10 "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." So remember to be strong, to hold onto your faith and to not give up on God, for He has promised us that He will never leave us nor forsake us.

And He will come through for us in due time, with the answers to our prayers, though sometimes the answers are not what we are expecting them to be, to comfort us, to restore our joy, to give us His peace, to restore our faith in Him and to give us His grace (or strength) to overcome and to go on in this world.

Remember what the Lord through our beloved brother King David says in Psalm 30:5 "For His anger endureth but a moment; in His favour is life: weeping may endure for a night (also the dark long night of the soul or season in our lives), but joy cometh in the morning."

So as the Lord through the above scripture tells us in Isaiah 43:1-5 "But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and He that formed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life. Fear not: for I am with thee..." Reminds us of His faithfulness in our lives.

So let us remember what He says and fear not or do not be in fear, for our God is with us and will not abandon us, and will bring us through onto the other side safely, as He did with His ancient and beloved people, the Nation of Israel, when they crossed the Red Sea and the Jordan River.

Have a blessed day and continue to be faithful to the Lord, by abiding in Him, through prayer, through intimacy, through communion and through the studying of His Word daily, regardless of what you are going through and will ever go through in this world, for there is no other way in this world for us to make it. For remember the Lord is the way to the Father, and not only the way to the Father and the way to Heaven, but also the way of life, the way to have joy, peace, health, happiness, and contentment in this world.

So we must not give up on Him or we will end up at the wrong camp, which is Satan's. So stay strong and hang onto your faith, to the Word of God, to His promises, always, especially when all you see is darkness (or sorrows, evil, pain, suffering and hopelessness in this world), for our God is always in control of all things, whether we follow Him or not.

But it is to our benefit that we follow Him and keep His commandments. For we walk by faith and not by sight, and we know that in Him alone there's hope, to save our souls from a burning Hell, from our trials and tribulations and for all things that we need and will ever need in this world! Blessed be His Holy name! Amen!
