When We Have Fallen Short Of His Glory, Willfully And Not-Willfully!

My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, good day. May this post find you in good health and strong in your faith and walk with God! Let us on this new day, remember that the Lord's mercies are new and that we are not consumed, because His compassions towards us fail not, they are new every morning, as our beloved brother in the Lord, the Prophet Jeremiah says in Lamentations 3:22-23.

Let us also on this another chance at life that the Lord has given us to live and enjoy the beautiful world, He created for us to enjoy, as He has told me, that when we fall short of His glory, willfully and not-willfully, we have hope to have all of our sins forgiven and forgotten by Him,  as He promises us in His Word.

As our beloved brother King David, prayed unto Him, to create in him a clean heart and to renew a right spirit within him, after he sinned against the Lord with Bathsheba, Uriah's wife and had her husband killed, by putting him in the front line of the battle. This he did, by asking the Lord this prayer, so that he would stay put in his walk with Him and by having a clean heart towards the Lord and not lose His faithful and strong Holy Spirit, for he (King David) knew that we are all nothing without the Lord in this world.

But let us not sin willfully against Him, for when we love someone greatly, as we say we love the Lord, the last thing we want to do is grieve Him or break His heart. Remember that the Holy Spirit is easily grieved, as it says in His Word.

The Lord wants you and I to always know that no matter what we do that is not in His perfect will for us to do or say and have sinned against Him that He will be there to forgive us, if we truly mean our repentance towards Him. For remember what He told the adulterous woman in the gospel of John in John 8:10-12, after her accusers left from wanting to stone her to death, He said: "...woman, where are those thine accusers? Hath no man condemned thee? She said: No Man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her: Neither do I condemn thee, go, and sin no more. Then spake Jesus again unto them saying: I am the light of the world: he that followeth me, shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."

So if you have fallen away from the Lord or short of his glory throughout the day, as we all do daily, Christians and Non- Christians alike, as none of us who are saved and have been saved have yet arrived, for none of us are perfect and only our Lord Jesus Christ is. But as Christians, we do not sin against Him willfully, because sin no longer has the dominion over us.

Let us remember to ask the Lord to create in us clean hearts, to renew a right spirit within us, to restore the joy of salvation unto us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness with His precious blood, as He promises us in 1 John 1: 9 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." And we will once again be restored in fellowship and communion with Him, through the Holy Ghost.

Do this daily when you pray, first thing in the morning, at the end of your day, before going to bed and anytime you feel the need to talk to God in prayer, for we must always be sure that we are in right standing with Him, before it's too late and He requires our souls!

Have a blessed day and remember that we can do ALL things through Christ, who strengthens us, as Paul the Apostle says in Philippians 4:13. So don't think and feel that there's no hope, for the  Lord Jesus is our hope, for He made the way for us, as He alone is the way! Blessed be His holy name!
