The Lord Is The Best! Finding Comfort in Jesus!

Good day, my fellow brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ, may you be having a blessed day filled with blessings, joy, peace and hope in the Lord. On this day let us remember that we can always find a word of comfort, strength and hope in the Lord in His Word, especially in the book of Psalms.

Through this book in the Bible, as you read it, the Lord will speak to you, pray through you, through the Holy Spirit and show you exactly where you are at in your spiritual walk with the Lord or what is going on in your life at the present moment.

Every time I have needed to receive a prayer for my situation in my life, a Word of hope and comfort, I have always landed on a Psalm that shows me exactly what is happening in my life and it gives me encouragement from the Lord after having read the prayer that our brother King David prayed to the Lord in his times of distress and praises to the Lord!

As the Lord's precious and beloved people, the Lord has already ordered our steps, as He promises us in Psalm 37:23 "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and He delighteth in his way." And because the Lord through the Holy Spirit lives His life in us, for us and through us, He knows what we need at all times in our lives, especially in our times of need.

And because the prayers that King David prayed to the Lord were inspired by the Holy Spirit, we can rest assured that this is one of the ways that His Spirit prays for us, and through us when we read His Word, as the Apostle Paul says in Romans 8:26 "Likewise the Spirit helpeth also our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit Himself maketh intercession for us with groanings that cannot be uttered." He also does this by praying for us through the Psalms that our brother King David wrote.

The Lord as our God of comfort will be the One and only One who will comfort you,  when you are alone or comfort you through someone, especially in times of great suffering and pain in your life, for He is the Master Surgeon and knows all things.

And we know that after having had surgery, we receive pain medication to ease our pain from the surgery, so must we also receive comfort during and after having gone through a severe trial in our lives, as it is a spiritual surgery that the Lord is performing in our hearts, through that trial. To burn from us our sins, so that we can receive healing, through the comfort that He gives or bestows upon us, through others or from Him alone, by ministering peace to our hearts.

For as our brother Paul the Apostle said in 2 Corinthians 1:3-5 "Blessed be God even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ."

The Lord is the best and a God of infinite wisdom and of great understanding, for He comforts us to bring healing to our wounded souls and to let us know that He is still with us and has not left us, especially in our darkest hours. For remember that He promises us in Hebrews 13: 5 "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee." And in Matthew 28:20 "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

We can't and will never go wrong with Jesus, for He has supplied all of our needs according to His riches in glory, as Paul says in Phillippians 4:19, even comfort and prayers for our souls through the Psalms! May we always remember that He loves us and is for us and if He is for us, then who can be against us? As our beloved brother Paul the Apostle says in Romans 8:31. Who? No one, for there is and will never be anyone stronger than our God!! Blessed be His holy name, ALWAYS!!

Stay strong and go with God!
