The Lord's Amazing Grace!

The Lord's Amazing Grace!  By Nanyamka Boyer

Good day my beloved friend, brother and sister in Christ. May you be having a blessed day and still be walking with Jesus and be very close to Him, our Beloved Savior and Lord! On this day let us focus on the Lord's amazing grace in our lives, especially in our times of great trials, sufferings and tribulations. Let us remember what He promised our beloved brother Paul the Apostle, in the book of 2 Corinthians, when he (Paul) asked the Lord three times to remove the thorn he had from his side, as this is also His promise to us when we go through our times of suffering or times of purification in this world, let us read in 2 Corinthians 12: 8-10 "For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."

There will be times that we have to go through the valley of the shadow of death and have to accept things in our lives that we cannot change, but only the Lord can and will do in His time. And until then we must rely upon His grace to walk us through it and see us through, even if at times those trials and tribulations are illnesses, divorce, loss of a job, loss of a loved one, loss of a home or a loss of a relationship. For mostly during these times, we must seek the Lord in His Word and ask Him for His guidance, His wisdom, strength or grace and understanding in prayer, so we can remain in the center of His will for and in our lives.

And for Him to also show us what to do during those times and see us through it. For apart from Him we can do nothing, as He says in John 15:5 "I am the vine, ye are the branches: he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing." And once we have sought Him in prayer and in His Word, because of our abiding in Him, we can then have His strength or grace to do all things through Him who strengthen us, as the Apostle Paul says in Philippians 4:13.

The Lord also promises us in Psalm 32:8 "I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye." And in Proverbs 16:3 "Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established." For as we seek Him daily, especially during our trials, He keeps us put in our walk with Him, through His Holy Spirit and gives us the courage, wisdom, strength and guidance to do His will, for our benefit in our trial. For with the Lord we must walk moment by moment, by faith and not by sight, especially when we must wait for His deliverance to come through for us. Remember that His deliverance comes or it is in His timing when it comes, as He is the potter and we are the clay, as He has us in the fiery furnace to purify us.

It is my prayer that you and I be strong daily in the Lord and seek Him until we find Him, especially when all of hell seems to be breaking loose in our lives and we do not know what to do next. For this is the time when the Lord is telling us to "Be still and to know that He is God," as He says in Psalm 46:10. For when He says this, He is telling us to stop worrying and to stop squirming like worms about our situation and to know that He is in total control over our lives, over our circumstances and over what or whom we are concerned about. He knows all about it and if He knows how many hairs are on our heads, then know that He knows everything about us, what concerns us and what is happening to us, for He made us and knows us better than we know ourselves. Remember what our beloved King David said in Psalm 139.

Please know and remember that the Lord's ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts, and even though it seems that we are forgotten by Him, because He is not coming through for us when we want Him to, does not mean that He has stopped loving us and has stopped caring. This is why He tells us through His brother James in James 1:4-8 "But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting (or lacking and wanting) nothing." So we must let patience be worked in us by the Lord, through the Holy Spirit, as we are being purified through that trial.

So do not give up in and on your faith and in your walk with God, for as the Lord has just reminded me to tell you that "we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God," in Acts 14:22. So please remain in your faith until He takes you home to Him in heaven, for there's no other safe and better place to be in this world for us, but only in the Lord!

God bless you and make the best of life, by being positive and by not dwelling on the negative, for if we truly counted our blessings daily, we will see that they are always more than our ten fingers can count! Blessed be His holy name, ALWAYS! Even in our darkest hours! Amen!
