The Lord Is Always With Us! By Nanyamka Boyer
Good day my beloved brother or sister in Christ and fellow reader. It is my prayer that all is going well with you and your loved ones and that on this day you are full of faith and hope in God. On this day I want to emphasize on our Beloved, Sweet Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and to remind you that when we are all left alone, that the Lord is always with us, even when it seems that He is not.
For we have been accustomed to only believe that the Lord is only with us, when all is going well for us and in our lives. But we must remember that He is the God of the mountain tops as well as the God of the valleys and that He promised us in 1 Kings 8:12 "Then spake Solomon, the LORD said that He would dwell in the thick darkness." And that He is also the Lily of the valleys!
Don't ever feel alone, for the Lord is with you through His Holy Spirit and hears your cries, even your faintest cry He hears, for He hears all things, knows all things and even the thoughts that are in our hearts that have not been spoken or yet spoken out loud.
For remember what our beloved brother and King David tells us in Psalms 139:4-5 "For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether. Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me." And we read in Verses 7- 12 of the same Chapter "Whither shall I go from thy Spirit or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee."
So as you can see there is nothing that can separate the Lord from you, not even the darkness, demons or any person or trial we could ever encounter in this world. For one thing I have learned from the Lord through experience is that He is truly Faithful and the only One who would always be and remain faithful to us. So hold onto Him and never let Him go, call upon His name when you are lonely and all the day long, especially when you are going through trials and tribulations and talk to Him, for He always has a listening ear to hear your voice.
And as our beloved brother Paul the Apostle tells us in Romans 8:35-39, so I remind you again "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Go with God, and know that as the Lord and I always say, your faith, labors, sacrifices and offerings in Him and for Him are not in vain. So keep your chin up and your eyes on Jesus, for He loves you more than anyone ever could love you in this world and will never leave you nor forsake you, as He promises us in Hebrews 13:5 "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."
So believe in His Word and remember that we walk by faith and not by sight and must believe the truth of His Word that are the facts of life and not by what we see or don't see that are temporal.
