Being Filled With The Holy Spirit! By Nanyamka Boyer
Good day my fellow and beloved brothers and sisters in our Beloved Savior and Sweet Lord Jesus Christ, our Great I Am! It is my prayer that on this day, as you read this post, all is well for you and with you and with yours, both spiritually and physically. Remember that there's always hope in Jesus, for whatsoever it is that we are in need of in this world. Hope to sustain us daily in our walk with Him and to enable us to live in this world. And that things are never what they seem to be. For our Beloved, Powerful, Almighty Heavenly Father is ALWAYS in control of ALL things that are happening in our lives and in this world. Blessed be His holy name!
On this day let us remember to remain daily filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit, in our hearts and souls, who is the Spirit of God the Father and of Jesus, our Sweet Lord and Loving Savior! For by Him (the Holy Spirit) and through Him, we can serve and approach our Beloved God, in His Word, in prayer and through praise and worship. As we were created for worship and for an intimate relationship with Him.
For it is also He who keeps us put in our walk with Him, so that we don't fall away and the One who keeps us obeying Him (the Holy Trinity) and His commandments, and keeps us seeking Him daily in His Word. So that we can continue to hear His voice, keep His commandments and know the direction that He is leading us to. For remember what our Beloved Savior tells us in the gospel of John about the Holy Spirit in John 3:8-16 "The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit."
For the Holy Spirit is also the One who brings us through our fiery trials in our lives, speaks to us the Word and will of God. The One who is our fountain of living waters and keeps our buckets full of joy, spiritual life, love and tenderness, so that we can then minister to others and give them Jesus' love, joy, faithfulness and His gift of salvation. Not only the salvation of and for their souls, but also the salvation of their lives, as our lives are upside down without Him. And the Lord also reminds me to give this unto you, that His Holy Spirit is also the One who sets a standard against the enemy, so he can touch us thus far no more, when he comes against us, as He says in Isaiah 59:19-21 "So shall they fear the name of the LORD, from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him."
So as our beloved brother Paul the Apostle tells us in Ephesians 5:15-20 about the Holy Spirit and about the times that we are living in, so let us also remember and apply it in our lives. "See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise. Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."
Go with and in the peace of God and remember to not be shy to ask the Lord, to fill you afresh to overflowing with His Holy Spirit, to refresh you and to enable you to go on. For truly the days are evil and we greatly need Him. For the devil is rampant and is always trying to wreck havoc in our lives and in the Church of God. As our beloved brother Peter the disciple and Apostle of Jesus, tells us in 1 Peter 5:8-9 "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world."
Remember to continue to seek the Lord daily, to remain faithful and strong in your faith and walk with God. And to continue to pray for your beloved brothers and sisters in Christ that are around the world, who need our prayers, as well as for your loved ones and for yourself.
For remember that there is power in prayer and though we are miles apart from one another, we are together in unity, by the Spirit of God, who lives in us. For we are members of His body, members of His Bride and of His beloved Church, who complete Him and represent Him here on earth.
Remember to also never take your salvation for granted, for it cost the Lord and His beloved Apostles greatly, for us to receive the gospel. For is the gift of God, so you should not perish and go to hell, but have eternal life. For tomorrow is not promised and we never know when the Lord will come back to earth or when He will require our souls.
So let us be wise, take heed and be ready, daily watching and praying, as He commands us to do in His Word in the gospel of Mark in Mark 13:37 "And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch."
