Trusting In The Lord's Plan For Our Lives! By Nanyamka Boyer
Good day my beloved brothers and sisters in our Faithful and Blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is my prayer that this blog finds you well and strong in your faith and walk with God and not wavering. For He who promised is faithful, as it is written in Hebrews 10:23 "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised;)." For remember that though we fail the Lord at times in our lives with our lack of trust and faith in Him, He remains faithful, as He also promises us in 2 Timothy 2:13 "If we believe not, yet He abideth faithful: He cannot deny Himself." Also in Hebrews 13:5 "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee." And one of my favorite one in Proverbs 18:24 "A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother." And we know that that friend is JESUS!
On this day let us remember that the LORD our God and Sweet and Faithful Heavenly Father has a plan for our lives even when all we see is chaos and darkness in our lives and all around us. And we must trust in His wisdom and in His understanding and not on our own. For remember that the Lord's ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts, and that His understanding is infinite, as He tells us in Isaiah 55:9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts higher than your thoughts." And in Psalm 147:5 "Great is our Lord, and of great power: His understanding is infinite."
Remember that all we see is our point of view of things down here on earth and that our understanding is very limited compared to the Lord's. But the Lord knows and sees all things from His point of view, which is from above. And even though we go through times of great darkness and trials in our lives, the Lord has them and our lives under His control and in the palms of His hands and has a great purpose for us to go through these times in our lives. We know that one of them is to strengthen our faith and trust in Him, to purify us or to make us more like Him in His image spiritually. Also to prepare us for heaven, so we can stand before Him as He is, holy. For remember that He tells us through the Apostle Paul in Hebrews 12:14 "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:"
And for the purpose to also prepare us for service in Him and for Him here on earth and also for heaven. For remember how Joseph, the son of Jacob and King David suffered greatly before the Lord exalteth them in positions of authority, so they could serve Him and His people well. For even Moses while he lived in the wilderness tending sheep for 40 years, before his encounter with the Lord in the burning bush and before he faced Pharaoh, had to go through the time of preparation, before he had to confront and go before Pharaoh in Egypt, to plead and fight for his people the Nation of Israel. For without the time of preparation of brokenness, we cannot serve the Lord.
So trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding, as He commands us to do in Proverbs 3:5. For when you are going through your own hell and back and the devil is attacking you viciously, know that the Lord has you in the spiritual fire, for training and for purification. For the Lord has told me that we cannot serve Him and His people without us first experiencing what they are going through and have gone through, so we can relate to their sufferings and be able to set them free and give them hope with the gospel. Remember that we must have the Lord's heart of love, of compassion and of mercy towards one another and our fellow man, the unbeliever.
So go with God, holding onto His unchanging and Faithful hand, knowing that Papa God, always knows best and just when you think that He has abandoned you or forgotten about you, it is when He is showing Himself strong on your behalf, as He is giving you His grace to trust in Him, to depend on Him, and see you through life and your trials. As He says in 2 Chronicles 16:9 "For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him." And in 2 Corinthians 12:9 "And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake, for when I am weak, then am I strong." Blessed be His holy name!
We can truly do all things through the Lord who strengthens us, even in our darkest hours, so trust in the Lord's plan and will for your life and continue to cleave unto Him daily, especially when you need Him the most! For He alone is worthy and of our faith and trust in Him! Blessed be His holy name!
