Not Living In Fear! By Nanyamka Boyer
Good day my beloved brother or sister in our Sweet and Blessed Savior Jesus Christ, our Shield and Buckler. It is my prayer that this blog finds you in good health, in good spirits and full of faith, spiritual strength and courage in the Lord. For with and in the Lord we can always remain complete in Him and through Him, although darkness abides all around us. For remember that the Lord has promised us, through King Solomon in 1 Kings 8:12 "Then spoke Solomon, The LORD said that He would dwell in the thick darkness." So as darkness (or evil) increases in this whole world, our Powerful, Almighty and Omnipresent God and Beloved Savior, will dwell with us, even in the thick darkness, as He has promised us. For as He has said in His Word and has also told me very often what He says in Psalm 139:12 "Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee." Blessed be His holy name!
On this day let us remember to not entertain the spirit of fear, by yielding to it and by panicking, because of all these shootings, hurricanes, earthquakes and all the calamities that continue and will continue to happen on this earth until the Lord's second coming. For remember that we are living in the last days and have been foretold by the Lord in the gospels of Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 that these things must come to pass before His coming. And this is why we must be ready and prepare in Him now while we have the chance to do so, for the days will come that as Christians, we will lose our spiritual freedom to worship and to seek the Lord in His house of prayer and in all places that sell His Holy Word, and products to draw us closer to Him.
For all these things will be taken away from us, and all we will have is His Word in our hearts to sustain us until the end or until His return to earth.
So on this day let us also remember to keep reading and studying His Word, for preparation, encouragement and to not live in fear. For remember that the Lord alone is the strength of our lives and not man, so we must not be afraid, as the Lord through our beloved King David wrote in Psalm 27:1 "The LORD is my light and my salvation; hom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" And on verse 3 "Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident."
And the Lord reminds me to give you this scripture that even though we are walking through the valley of the shadow of death, as people are dying all around us, He is with us, as He tells us through King David in Psalm 23:4 "Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."
Let us also remember that in times like these we must also read Psalm 91, as this is a prophecy and it is His promise to protect us and keep us from evil. Let us read verses 5-12 "Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night: nor for the arrow (also bullets) that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; Nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; But it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, Even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For He shall give His angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all thy ways, They shall bear thee up in their hands, Lest thou dash thy foot against a stone."
And also the Lord says in Proverbs 3:25-26 "Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken." And also the Lord wants me to remind you that we must be in Him, for as He sees the blood, or His blood upon our homes and upon us, as He did with the Nation of Israel, when they were in Egypt, so He will also do with us, by passing us by, when He is bringing judgment upon the wicked.
This we read in Exodus 12:13 "And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt (now the world)."
The Lord also says to: "Do not be afraid, and avoid danger." This He wants us to do, as we walk in His wisdom, as He also tells us in His Word in Proverbs 22:3 "A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished."
So let us obey the Lord through His Word, for without Him we will also be consumed, if we choose to leave Him. And my brethren as I have said before, please remember to walk in love and in forgiveness before the Lord, as I myself have to also do and remind myself that is not about me, but is all about the Lord. And to daily remember to see all things in the spirit and not through the flesh, as the world does. And to not let the devil, take away our joy and peace in the Lord, for remember that he is a defeated foe.
And although it seems as he is winning, he is not, for he is just a puppet in the Lord's hands and he can only do what the Lord allows him to do throughout this whole world. For even the calamities that are happening right now all around us, are for His purpose and will, as these have already been written in His Word.
So let us not walk in fear, but in the fear of the Lord, for remember that is God the Father, who sends people to hell and not the devil, for not believing in Him and for not obeying Him through His Son Jesus Christ. As fear has torment, as John the Beloved Apostle of Jesus tells us in 1 John 4:18 "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment, he that feareth is not perfect in love."
God bless you and remember to stay strong in your faith and walk with God daily and for Jesus, always!
For your faith and hope in Him is not in vain and He will come back soon, to reward all men accordingly, as He says in Revelation 22:12-14 "And behold, I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to give to every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter in through the gates into the city."
