Abiding In The Safety Of The Lord!

Updated: Apr 9, 2020

Good day my beloved brother or sister in our Beloved Loving and Faithful Savior Jesus Christ. It is my prayer that this blog finds you full of faith, courage and strong in the Lord, as some days are harder than others and we need to remain in His strength that He bestows upon us, through His Holy Spirit. For as it is written in Zechariah 4:6-8 "Then He answered and spake unto me, saying this is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts." For as Christians we know that in the Lord only we find the strength (whether spiritual or physical) that we need to live moment by moment in this world. And therefore we must seek Him daily, so we can make it.

On this day let us remember that in the Lord alone there is the physical and spiritual protection we need from the enemy, for in Him we find shelter from the storms in life. And as we sometimes face days that we face a battle after a battle, we must run to the Lord and seek safety, His comfort, direction, words of encouragement and strength to enable us to go on. For as I have said before the devil does not know what mercy is and his purpose is as the Lord says in John 10:10 "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." We seek His protection in prayer, in His Word and even through prayer songs, so He can come to our rescue, through for us and set us free from the oppression of the enemy.

The Lord has told me that just as children must stay close to their parents for safety, so also must we, so that He can continue to protect us and keep us from the enemy. For when we choose to leave Him, we also leave the shadow or safety of His protection and He cannot cover us or protect us from the evil that is in this world. We should never assume because the Lord is with us that we should go to places both spiritually and physically that are outside of His protection or outside of the boundaries He has given to us to abide both spiritually and physically. For remember what He commands us in Deuteronomy 6:16 "Ye shall not tempt the LORD your God, as ye tempted Him in Massah."

And what the Lord Jesus told the devil, when he tempted Him in the wilderness to cast Himself down from the pinnacle of the temple, after He had fasted for forty days, as we read in Matthew 4:5-7 "Then the devil taketh Him up into the holy city, and setteth Him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto Him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give His angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus saith unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God." Remember that the devil knows the Word of God and I believe that he knows it much better than us, the saints of God, but he twists it for evil. For he first speaks the truth and then a lie, as he did with Eve in the Garden of Eden, so that we think that what he is saying to us is truly from the Word of God, because he first spoke the truth of what it is written, and the rest is not. For remember what the Beloved Apostle of Jesus, John the Beloved, tells us in 1 John 2:21 "I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that not lie is of the truth." So let us always remember and remain alert to his wiles and abide in the Lord's Word, so we can truly know what is of God and what is not, truth from error.

So let us daily abide in the center of the Lord's will for us, by daily acknowledging Him in all of our ways, so He can direct our paths, as He command us to do in Proverbs 3:6 "In all thy ways acknowledge him, and He shall direct thy paths." So we remain at the right place at the right time. For when we belong to Jesus and abide in Him daily, by the keeping of His commandments, He turns our hearts this way and that way, as He has told me and also as He says in Proverbs 21:1 through King Solomon: "The King's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: He turneth it whithersoever He will." And in Psalm 37:23-25 "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and He delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with His hand. I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread."

Have a blessed day and go with God and remember that the Lord remains faithful to us, His saints, even when we are not faithful to Him, as the Apostle Paul tells us in 2 Timothy 2:13 "If we believe not, yet He abideth faithful: He cannot deny Himself." But let us not leave Him willfully because we chose to go back to the world, tempt Him, and provoke Him to jealousy and anger, for it is impossible to have tasted of His goodness, faithfulness and mercies and betray Him. But if we have left Him, let it be only because we have fallen short of His glory and not because we have departed from Him willfully from our hearts. For this grieves Him and His Holy Spirit greatly and we also crucify Him afresh and bring Him to an open shame, as it is written in Hebrews 6:4-6 "For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holly Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put Him to an open shame."

So let us daily abide in Him and in His Word, and also remain faithful to Him by being willing and obedient, so we can also eat the good of the land, as He commands us to do in Isaiah 1:19-20 "If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it." So let's be wise and take heed and daily apply His Word in our lives, for our benefit. And so we can also remain in His safety and be a blessed people, so that our righteousness, through His Son Jesus Christ, can exalt the land, our Nation and not bring upon us a reproach or a dishonor from God, as it is written in Proverbs 14:34 "Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people."

And remember that we need His blessings and at that daily, especially His salvation, both from hell and from our troubles here on earth. Blessed be His holy name, for He made a way for us to make it!
