Take Heed Lest You Fall

Take Heed Lest You Fall By Nanyamka Boyer

Good day my beloved brother or sister in our Faithful, Loving Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is my prayer that on this day you are found standing strong and courageous in your faith and in your love for God. For remember that in Him alone we find strength and hope in this world to make it and are strong and healthy both spiritually and physically. And as we wait upon Him to come through for us to give us the spiritual and physical strength that we need to go on, He promises us what He says in Isaiah 40:31 "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

And if you are finding yourself without hope, remember what our beloved brother King David says in Psalm 42:11 "Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God." And what the Lord also reminds me to give unto you what He says in Psalm 27:14 "Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD." So be strong and always hope in the Lord to remain strong and to find what you are in need of in your life.

On this day let us remember to stay humble and not to be confident in our flesh, but in the Lord lest we fall, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:12-15 "Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry." So the wisdom here is to stay  humble and to not worship ourselves, but the Lord only! For our confidence needs to be in Him alone and never upon our flesh and in our previous success in Him in the past. For this is why the Lord commands us in His Word to daily watch and pray, because our flesh is weak, as it is written in Matthew 26:41 "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." And in Luke 18:1 "And He spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not faint..."

Let us not judge or condemn our fellow brother and sister in the Lord, when they sin against Him or fall short of His glory and act as if that would never happen to us. For as it is written in Proverbs 18:12 "Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility." And in Proverbs 16:18 "Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." But let us instead keep one another and ourselves daily in prayer, so we can all be strong spiritually, stand after we have done all to stand without falling away and make it to heaven. For until that day comes to be with the Lord, we are going to have to work out our salvation with fear and trembling, as we are commanded to do by the Lord, through the Apostle Paul in Philippians 2:12 "Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling."

For those of us who have intimate encounters and visions with the Lord, let us daily remember that even Satan, when he was Lucifer and was close to the Lord in heaven, before he fell he and his demons, also fell and great was his fall.

So let us never assume because we have been so close to the  Lord that we no longer need to submit to Him and obey Him. For what the Lord requires of one, He requires of all! And as I hear the Lord tell me, so I can give it to you, so I write what He says in Luke 12:48 "But he that kneweth not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more." And to also remember that the Lord is attracted to humility and not pride, for He resists the proud, as it is written in James 4:6 "But He giveth more grace. Wherefore He saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble." So as we can see, we are held more accountable before the Lord.

So let us remain humble before the Lord, always and remain wise, by always taking heed to His Words. For many have already fallen away and have not seen it happening.

So let us daily examine ourselves and compare our lives to His Word and consider our ways, and change what needs to be changed before it's too late, as the Lord commands us to do in Haggai 1:5-7 "Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways. Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways."

Have a wonderful, joyous and blessed day and week and remember that the world watches us daily and most of them (the unbelievers) are hoping for us to fail and fall as Christians. And to also use it as an excuse for them to keep on sinning against the Lord. So let us for His name sake, exalt His holy name, by keeping His commandments. And as the Lord tells me often: to be His disciple wherever I am, so we don't bring His holy name to shame and give the heathen an occasion to blaspheme or to speak evil against Him, so let us also daily remember. For remember that as His beloved Saints, through His Holy Spirit, "we can do all things through Him who strengthens us!" As it is written in Philippians 4:13, so we don't have an excuse to sin against Him. Blessed be His holy name!
