The Power Of His Resurrection!

Updated: Nov 21, 2020

Good day Saints. It is my prayer that this blog post finds you healthy, both spiritually and physically, courageous, full of faith, hope in the Lord alone and still abiding in our Beloved Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. For because of the Lord's great mercies toward us, we get to wake up and see another day. For as it is written by the Lord, as He told Job in Job 38:12 that it is He who commands our mornings. "Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place; That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?" And also what our beloved brother Jeremiah the Prophet tells us about the Lord, by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, in Lamentations 3:22-23 "It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulnes."

So let us daily thank Him for His unfailing and patient love for us and for giving us another day to live and another chance at life to walk right before Him, if we have failed Him, left Him or have fallen away. For as also Jeremiah said in Lamentations 3:24, so let us also believe, agree and say: "The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in Him." For in the Lord alone in this world, there's hope! So always remember that when the enemy through his own children and through your own thoughts, try to make you believe otherwise. For apart from the Lord, we are nothing, have no hope and have nothing of eternal value in this world!

On this day let us remember that in the Lord alone we find newness of life, a new spiritual and physical beginning once we get saved, are born again and walk with Him daily, as our beloved brother Paul the Apostle knew and wanted to learn more about the power of the Resurrection of our Beloved Lord Jesus Christ. For as he wrote and prayed it in Philippians 3:9-11 "And be found in Him, not having  mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings being made conformable unto His death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead." So let us also earnestly desire!

For the Lord when He arose from the dead gained us the power for us to walk in newness of life, where sin would no longer have the power or dominion over us and against us to keep us in bondage to Satan and to sin, for as the Lord through the Apostle Paul teach us in Romans 6:4-10, so let us also do. "Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism (or when we are baptized) into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead (or dead to sin, by being buried or planted with Jesus) is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over Him. For in that He died, He died unto sin once: but in that He liveth, He liveth unto God."

For when we are born again we are crucified with the Lord on the cross, as well as our sins are nailed to His cross and the life that we now live in this body or flesh, as the Lord lives His sinless life in us and through us, as the Lord through the Apostle Paul tells us in Galatians, we live by or through the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, who loved us and gave Himself for us! Let us read it, as this is also one of my favorite scriptures, for it is mighty and it gives the devil a black eye! Galatians 2:20 "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me." And in Colossians 2:13-15 "And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath He quickened (or made us alive, spiritually, by being born again) together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross; And having spoiled (or destroyed) principalities and powers, He made a shew of them (Satan and his demons) openly, triumphing over them in it."

So let us daily remember to thank the Lord for His sacrifice for us on the Cross, for He had to leave His heavenly home and abode, to come down to this sinful, evil and darkened world, to set us free from Satan, his demons, the ways of ungodly men that are contrary from the ways and Word or the Commandments of God, from sin and from our sinful, rebellious and destructive nature or flesh. For as the Lord Himself said in Luke 4:18 that it is also written in Isaiah 61:1-3 "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound: To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD (which is now, the time of Grace), and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn: To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion (in Jerusalem, but also the true Church, the Saints of God), to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD that He might be glorified."

For as our beloved brother Paul the Apostle said by the Holy Ghost about the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in Romans 1:16, so let us also say and proclaim out loud: "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation, to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (also the Gentile Nations or the Nations of the world that are non Jewish)."

Have a blessed, joyous, wonderful, peaceful day and week and remember to invite and to take the Lord with you wherever you go, for His friendship, companionship, wisdom, guidance and protection in and for your life. For as He lives His sinless life in you and through you, through the Holy Spirit, He will continue to strengthen you, give you His power to resist the enemy, walk right before Him, glorify and exalt His holy name, by the obeying and the keeping of His Commandments.

For He died and rose to life from the dead to give you His power of and for new life, through the Holy Spirit, so that you can obtain the power to overcome the enemy, the ways of the world, and your sinful flesh. And to also walk right before Him and make it to Heaven! Blessed be His holy name, for He truly set us free at the Cross, at the expense of His sinless life and holy blood, so that we could become the righteousness of God, through Him, as it is written! For He alone is worthy of our love, praise, admiration and faithfulness!

May we always put a smile on His Precious face, by being the best we can be before Him in our hearts and in our obedience to Him!
