The Lord Is In The Recycling Business!

Updated: Apr 10, 2020

Good day my beloved brother or sister in our Faithful and Loving Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, our Bright and Morning Star. It is my prayer that this blog post finds you well both spiritually and physically and still hungry and thirsty for the Lord in your life. For in Him alone we find the water and bread of life that we need to quench and satisfy our hungry and thirsty souls! For as He says in His Word in the Gospel of John, that He is the Bread of Life in John 6:35 "And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst."And also in Revelation 22:16-17 we read how the Lord through the Holy Spirit through the Apostle John invites us to come to His water of life: "I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches, I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come, And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." For the Lord is free and is available to us all the day long, for as He promises us in Psalm 121: 4-5 "Behold, He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand." Blessed be His Sweetest, Holy and Loving Name, for His faithfulness!

On this day let us remember that the Lord is in the recycling business of our souls. For He allows all things to work together for our good from our sinful lives that we lived before we came to Him, also of our mistakes and of our trials and tribulations. For He uses our sinful lives, after we have gotten saved or have been born again to be used as our testimony to help the unbeliever, when we witness to them, to show them that if He forgave all of our filthy and shameful sins, that He can and will also do the same for them. For the Lord died for all manner of sin, including the vilest of sins that a person could ever commit against Him. For as He says in His Word and told the wicked Scribes and Pharisees who always persecuted Him, when He first came to earth 2,000 years ago in Luke 5:29-31 that those that are whole spiritually and physically, do not need a physician, but those that are sick, as we read: "And Levi made Him a great feast in His own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them. But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against His disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners? And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick."

And as we daily grow in Him and continue to fall short of His glory, as we live in this sinful flesh and sin dwells in us (in our flesh and in our hearts), He continues to pick us up, when we fall short of His glory, repent of our sins unto Him, and turn from them. For as we do, He then allows those sins that we committed against Him to work together for our good, as we learn from those sins or un-willful and willful mistakes that we committed against Him and against our fellow man. And also learn about His great mercies and compassion toward us, upon our souls and upon our lives, as we also become His witnesses. For as He promises us through His Beloved Apostle John in 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." And in Romans 8:1-2 "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death" Thank you Lord and blessed be your holy name, for making a way for us!

And as we go through our daily trials and tribulations in our lives, He uses those trials to refine us in the spiritual fire, so we can be more in His image and less like the image of our sinful flesh and of the devil, our ancient enemy who caused Adam and Eve to sin against the Lord in the Garden of Eden, by making them eat from the fruit of the tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. For as it is written in Malachi 3:2-4 "But who may abide the day of His coming? and who shall stand when He appeareth? for He is like a refiner's fire, and like fuller's soap: And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and He shall purify the sons of Levi (or the Priests, for they were the sons of the Tribe of Levi), and purge them as gold and silver that they may offer unto the LORD and offering in righteousness. Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years." And in Zechariah 13:8-9 "And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, it is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God."

So always remember that in the Lord Jesus Christ, we always have hope to be a better people and to come out of our trials and tribulations with victory, for even when all of hell seems to be breaking loose in our lives and nothing seems to make sense to our natural eyes and carnal mind, the Lord is always in control of all things. For this is why He commands us and reminds us often to trust in Him and not to lean or depend on our own understanding in Proverbs 3:5-8 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones."

For as the Lord is quiet and silently watching us and over us, He as it is written in Romans 8:28 is working all things together for our good! "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose." So trust in His wisdom and love for you, for He does not make mistakes and does not abandon us, especially when we need His love, direction and help the most in our lives. For as He promises us and it is written in Proverbs 18:24 "A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother." And we know that, that friend is Jesus, the Sweet Lover of our souls!

Go with God, have a blessed and joyous week even in the midst of your darkness or trial and tribulation, for the Lord is our strength and as we keep our eyes, hearts and minds stayed on Him, especially as we go through our trials and tribulations, He will keep us in His perfect peace, as He promises us in Isaiah 26:3-4 "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength." Blessed be His powerful, holy and Mighty name, even in our darkest hours! For He alone is truly worthy!!
