Jesus: The Bookends Of Life!

Updated: Apr 10, 2020

Good day my fellow reader and beloved brother or sister in our Sweet Loving, Awesome, All Powerful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, our Great I Am. It is my prayer that you had a blessed Christmas and that this blog finds you healthy, strong and still in love with our Beloved Savior and Sweet Lord, Jesus Christ, our Lily in our valleys or darkest hours. For as our beloved brother King David wrote of Him about Him always being with him, especially during the valley of the shadow of death in Psalm 23 verse 4, so I also agree: "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me: thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." For indeed there is no need for us to be fearful, even during our trials, when the Lord through His Precious, Mighty and Faithful Holy Spirit is with us, comforting us and giving us His strength to live, move and have our being in Him, both spiritually and physically.

On this day let us remember that our Loving Savior and Faithful Lord is the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End of our lives, of this world, and also of our trials and tribulations. For just as He began our lives in the womb and at our births, by breathing His breath of life upon our nostrils, so does He also begin our trials and tribulations in Him, to test our faith and love for Him. And also for the purpose of purification and sanctification spiritually for our souls. For just as He began this year that is now soon to be over and will also finish it, as we are almost at its' last day and will be coming to an end, so will He also begin our lives anew next year once this year is over and will also finish it until its' end and will also carry us through our trials and tribulations and even to our graves. As He has done already in our lives from the day we were born. For our God is a God who cares about us, is faithful, by being with us daily and by providing unto us our daily needs, both spiritually and physically.

And as I just heard Him say what He says in Isaiah 46:3-4 to give unto you, to encourage you: "Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob (also His Saints), and all the remnant of the house of Israel, which are borne from me from the belly, which are carried from the womb. And even to your old age I am He; and even to hoar (or gray) hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear, even I will carry, and will deliver you." And He also wants me to remind you of the Sweet, Loving and Beautiful poem: "Footprints In The Sand," which is also my favorite poem, where it says: "One night I dreamed a dream. As I was walking along the beach with my Lord. Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, One belonging to me and one to my Lord. After the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that at many times along the path of my life, especially at the very lowest and saddest times, there was only one set of footprints. This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it. "Lord, you said once I decided to follow you, You'd walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I don't understand why, when I needed you the most, You would leave me. He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you Never, ever, during your trials and testings. When you saw only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

So let us as this new year begins, let the Lord carry us through the good and the bad things we will go through in our lives, for His Faithful and Loving personality, always sees all things that He begins unto its' end. For just as He also began this world, 6,000 years ago, as He told me, so will He also bring it to His appointed end, as He has written and ordained it in His holy Word. For the Lord cannot lie or fail, as He has also never failed before in times past, especially concerning His promises that are written in His Word, the Holy Bible. For as He says about Himself in Numbers 23:19 "God is not a man, that He should lie, neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?" And in Isaiah 55:11 "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." And also as the Lord Jesus says in Matthew 5:18 "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." For all of His Word will come to pass in His appointed time, so never doubt His Word.

Go with God, have a blessed and a very Happy New Year! And remember that just as this new year is about to begin by God Almighty, so can you also begin your life anew in and with the Lord, for in the Lord we have the first, second, third and fourth chance to repent of our sins unto Him, so they can be washed away with His precious blood and forgotten by Him, have a new and fresh, beginning in life and be a better people. For as it is written in 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." And in Hebrews 8:12 "For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more." And in 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." And remember that the Lord's mercies are new every morning, as it says in Lamentations 3:22-23 "It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."

So there's hope to always come to the Lord to be forgiven, even when we have fallen away and grieved His Holy Spirit. For as He also says in 2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." So go to Jesus daily through His Word, prayer, praise and worship, and wherever He leads you to find Him and remember that: "..he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." As the Lord says in Matthew 24:13. So endure your trials with courage, without fear and with hope and faith in the Lord. And never give in to the devil or give up in life. And remember to bless daily His holy name for who He is and does for you every day and that He alone is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending of this world and of our lives and no one else is, including ourselves! Blessed be His Holy Name! For He alone has and is in control of our lives and has our names in the Palms of His hands!
