Christmas: The Birth Of Jesus!

Updated: Apr 10, 2020

Good day, my beloved brother or sister in our Faithful and Blessed Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, our Prince of Peace. It is my prayer that as we are in the Season of the Birth of Jesus, the Messiah, that this blog post finds you well both spiritually and physically, filled with His presence and peace and also focused on Him, who is the Only reason for this Season and not on ourselves or about the lie of the devil about Santa Claus. For it is written in 1 John 2:21 "I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth." For the Lord alone is the truth in and of this world and came to save us from eternal damnation in hell, the devil, this world, our sins, also from our sinful and selfish ways.

On this day and in this Christmas Season, let us remember that God the Father, gave us His very best gift and was and is the only One, who gave us the very first Christmas gift, when He sent us His Only Begotten Son to die on the Cross for us, almost 2000 years ago. As the Lord Jesus tells us in the Gospel of John in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." For when He sent us Jesus through Mary, the Mother of Jesus, He gave us hope and a blessed future with Him, when He lightened the whole world, through His birth. As it lied in great darkness, even as it is testified of those who saw Him in Carpernaum, as it is written in the Gospel of Matthew in Matthew 4:16 "The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up."

For the Lord has told me that when He came into this world, through His birth, He entered the world during the night hour of the day. For it was dark, as it was also dark spiritually all over the earth because of sin. For this was a time when darkness was great and rampant throughout the earth, through the times of oppression of the Roman Empire and of Satan, as he (the devil) had people in darkness, spiritually and in bondage to sin and death in the world. So as He was born, His holy and sinless presence lightened the whole world spiritually, as He is the Light of the world, and also it (His birth) stirred up the kingdom of darkness or of Satan and caused great commotion in Jerusalem with King Herod or Herod the Great, who sought to kill Him. For wherever and whenever the Lord shows up, demons tremble and attack the Lord and His people through persecution, as seen throughout history in the Bible. For he (Herod the Great) lied to the three Magi, when they met him in his palace, after they had followed His Star from the East and sought Him to worship Him. For he (King Herod) lied to the wise men by pretending that he also wanted to worship Him. So he told them to let him know of His (or the Baby Jesus') place of abode, so he could instead kill Him.

Let us read it to refresh our memory in the Gospel of Matthew in Matthew 2:1-8 "Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem. Saying, Where is He that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen His star in the east, and are come to worship Him. And when he (King Herod) had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judea; for thus it is written by the prophet. And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel. Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found Him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship Him also."

So let us this Christmas Season and on the Lord's day (Christmas Day), remember that it is ALL about Jesus, and not about us and our selfish desires and ways, as it was with King Herod. For the Lord suffered great persecution and torment beginning from the time of His birth to His death on the Cross, as we just read. So that we could have a life that is more abundantly here on earth, as He says in the Gospel of John in John 10:10 "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." To be also able to live in Heaven forever with Him and not die in a burning hell for eternity, be a better people made in His image spiritually, as He made us to be, before Adam and Eve sinned against Him in the Garden of Eden. For it is always about remembering and honoring Him all the year long, especially during the Christmas and Easter Seasons. For it is a very sad thing to see people every where extremely busy and preoccupied, shopping and trying to please others, and the One who truly needs to be pleased all the day long, is completely ignored and forgotten. For this is something that God the Father has also told me and it is a very heartbreaking thing to hear from the Lord and sense His grief and He grieves greatly for His children, whom He gave His all for. For this is why He says in Jeremiah 2:13 "For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water."

So let us change our ways before the Lord, for the sake of His heart and put our lives in order, by putting all things in its' proper place, which is God first, then man and then ourselves. For we must change first, if we want to see change for the better in this world. And that is by truly dying to self daily, also by abiding daily in the Lord, through His Word, prayer, praise and worship, honoring Him, doing what pleases Him and commands us to do every day in our lives. For remember that when we forget the Lord and put other gods before Him, including ourselves, we provoke Him to anger and to jealousy. For remember that He is a jealous God, as He says in Exodus 20:3-6 "Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shall not bow thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me: And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments."

Go with God and remember the poor, the orphans, homeless and widows, especially this Christmas Season, for they need to know that there is a God in the heavens and here on this earth, through the Holy Spirit, who loves them unconditionally and greatly and died for them too. So that they may also live both spiritually and physically, here on earth and in heaven. So have a blessed and a very Merry Christmas and remember that the best gift we could ever give to the Lord, our Loving Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, is our hearts, our love, faithfulness, lives and obedience. For remember that He already owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and the silver and the gold, as He says in Psalm 50:10 "For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills." And in Haggai 2:8 "The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts." And therefore He has need of nothing that is material from us. And when we show Him our respect, love, appreciation and gratitude for Him coming to earth and dying on the Cross for us 2,000 years ago, and when we keep His commandments and also give Him our love, as He says in the Gospel of John in John 14:23, we then truly love Him and appreciate Him. "Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him." And also in John 14:15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments." And in John 14:21, He also says: "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him."

So thank God the Father for sending us Jesus to the little town of Bethlehem almost 2,000 years ago, for in Jesus, as He was wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in that manger, was also wrapped with human flesh and became sin for us, who never sinned or tasted sin. So we could become the righteousness of God in Him, as it is written of Him by the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 5:21 "For He (God the Father) hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him." Blessed be His holy name, today and forever more!
