Abiding In The Lord Through The Blood Of Jesus!

Updated: Nov 2, 2020

Good day to you my beloved brother or sister in our Faithful, Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, the Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace. It is my prayer that this devotion finds you healthy and strong in the Lord, as well as abiding in His peace, as He is our Prince of Peace and joy in this world, for He alone is perfect.

And as we continue to abide in Him, let us remember to not be double minded, when we come to Him in prayer, as we daily walk with Him, for remember that a double minded man is unstable in all his ways and does not receive anything from God, as he cannot please Him without faith, as it is written in James 1:5-8 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways." And in Hebrews 11:6 "But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him."

So seek Him knowing that all things are possible with Him and to those that believe in His holy name, as it is written in His Word. For remember that our God is a God of the impossible!

On this day let us remember to also abide in the Lord through His mighty and precious blood, by doing communion often. For we not only abide in Him through His Word, prayer, fasting, praise and worship music, but also when we eat of His body and blood, as He tells us in the Gospel of John in John 6:48-58, when He spoke to those Jews who did not believe in Him. "I am the bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh which I will give for the life of the world. The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us His flesh to eat? Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life: and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever."

But let us remember to first examine ourselves, by repenting and confessing of our sins unto the Lord, so we can be forgiven and have a clean slate and are not judged by the Lord or die before our time for mocking Him, as the Lord through the Apostle Paul tells us to do in 1 Corinthians 11:26-32 "For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till He come. Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep (or are dead). For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world."

For remember that the blood of Jesus also keeps us free from the grip of Satan and is what makes an atonement for our souls, as the Father tells us in Leviticus 17:11 "For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul." For the Lord also lives His holy life through His Precious and Mighty blood in us, by allowing it to flow through our veins, as He lives in our hearts and we continue to eat of His body and blood, through communion, as we just read above that the Lord says in the Gospel of John Chapter 6.

Let us also remember to apply His mighty blood upon ourselves, loved ones and places of abode for protection and to use it against the devil, when he comes against us and we rebuke him, for it is truly our protection and salvation. So don't ever be ashamed of the blood of Jesus, for if He did not shed it for us to make an atonement for our souls upon the Altar of Sacrifice of God in heaven, we would not have the chance to be saved.

For His blood, was applied upon the mercy seat in heaven, after He died on the Cross, to atone the instruments in heaven, as we read by the Lord through the Apostle Paul in Hebrews 9:22-23 "And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these: but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these." And Revelation 5:6, as the Lord offered Himself before the Father. "And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth."

Go with God, have a blessed, joyous and peaceful week, knowing that there's power in the blood of Jesus and as we remember to partake of His body and blood through Holy Communion, the Lord continues to abide in us and us in Him, through His Faithful and Mighty Holy Spirit, for we are His body here on earth.

And remember that the Gospel of Jesus, is the power of God unto salvation, to every one that believes in it, to the Jew first and also to the Gentile Nations, as Paul the Apostle understood and wrote in Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."
