Casting All Of Our Cares Upon Him By Nanyamka Boyer
Good day to you my beloved brother or sister in our Mighty and Faithful Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, our Strength in Life! It is my prayer that this devotion finds you and your loved ones in good health and still cleaving unto Jesus, who is our Source and Strength in and of life. For remember that He commands us in His Word to cleave unto Him and not to depart from Him in Deuteronomy 13:4 "Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear Him, and keep His commandments, and obey His voice, and ye shall serve Him, and cleave unto Him."
And remember that it is because of our faithfulness to Him, we His beloved Saints remain alive unto this day, as we continue to cleave unto Him, abide in Him and trust in the power of His Resurrection, Precious Blood, Holy and Mighty Name, as we read by the Lord in Deuteronomy 4:3-4 "Your eyes have seen what the LORD did because of Ba-al-pe-or (now Satan); for all the men (now the wicked of this present generation) that followed Ba-al-pe-or, the LORD thy God hath destroyed them from among you. But ye that cleave unto the LORD your God are alive every one of you this day."
For we as His beloved people and children, through His Son Jesus Christ know that He alone is the Strength of our lives and the One who fights our battles and gives us the victory, as we read by our beloved brother and mighty King David in Psalm 27:1-3 "The LORD is my light and my salvation: whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident." Amen and blessed be His holy name, for the Lord is our hope and shield in life! So continue to cleave unto our Mighty and Blessed Holy God, for in Him alone is wrapped up all we need and could ever need in this world to live and move, both spiritually and physically, especially spiritually in Him and not in anything and no one else in this world. So don't ever loose Him and don't let Him go, for remember that He alone is your Salvation and Life in this world, both spiritually and physically!
On this day and as we are almost to the end of this year, let us remember to cast all of our cares or concerns and problems upon Jesus, our Beloved Caring, Loving Savior and Lord, as we are commanded by the Lord in Psalm 55:22 "Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved." And in 1 Peter 5:7 "Casting all your care upon Him, for He careth for you." For He cares for us and continues to lighten our burdens, as we continue to seek Him and abide in Him. For remember that He is able and is willing to help us, and is able to do exceedingly and abundantly, above all we ask or think, as our beloved brother and mighty Apostle Paul understood and tells us through the Mighty Holy Spirit in Ephesians 3:20-21 "Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen." And that power is the Powerful, Anointed and Blessed Holy Spirit!
For remember that as we abide in the Lord, His burdens upon our lives are light and not heavy, as He helps us carry them throughout our lives. For this is why the Lord invites us and pleads with us to daily come unto Him, to take His yoke upon us, learn of or about Him, so we can find rest for our weary souls, for His yoke is truly easy, and His burden is light, as we read in the Gospel of Matthew in Matthew 11:28-30 "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me: for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
For the Lord did not create us to go through life without Him and handle life's problems alone, but to give them to Him, so He can handle them and show us the way we should take and go in life, for direction and for our spiritual benefit and prosperity. For when we prosper spiritually, we truly and also then prosper physically. For this is how and why the devil consumes the unbeliever and destroys from us humans, our lives, our peace, our joy, our health, strength and our loved ones, by keeping us from God and from the truth of His Holy and Mighty Word. And as we seek and abide in the Lord daily, we have His joy and life to sustain us that He gives us more abundantly, as He promises us in the Gospel of John that He came to give us in John 10:9-10 "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." And we then are not settled for less in life or by what the devil tells us and gives to us, which is only spiritual and physical death before our time is supposed to be up here on earth and also puts us in misery, when we believe his lies. So take heed and be wise before it's too late for you to believe God and come to your senses.
Go with God, take the Lord always with you, have a blessed, joyous, peaceful and a Happy New Year, remembering that the Lord is always with you even in your darkest hours and all you have to do is look up to Him to heaven and in your heart, as He lives there through His Faithful Holy Spirit and remember that He is there with you, a very present help in times of trouble, a God who is close at hand and not afar off, as we read in His Word in Psalm 46:1-3 "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Se-lah." And in Jeremiah 23:23-24 "Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off? Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD."
It is also my prayer that as King David prayed unto the Lord in Psalm 27:4 "One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I might dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in His temple." That we will also let it be our prayer and desire and goal or purpose in our lives before the Lord, for we need Him and at that greatly and daily, as we continue to live in these last days and face the unknown in this world. But remember that to our Beloved and Mighty God, no-thing is unknown unto Him, as He knows all things, sees all things, hears all things and is before all things, as it is written in Colossians 1:16-17 "For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist."
So put and give your future and life into Jesus' hand and be not fearful, but believing in Him and in His Word daily, as He is the author and finisher of your life and faith in Him and the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending of all life in this world, as we read by Him in Revelation 1:8 "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was and which is to come, the Almighty." And in Revelation 22:13 "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last." Blessed be His holy name, for we don't have to be in fear!
