Considering Our Ways Before God! By Nanyamka Boyer
Good day to you my beloved brother or sister in our Mighty and Faithful Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, our Protection and Salvation in Life and of our souls! It is my prayer that this devotion finds you well and in the center of the Lord's perfect will for your life and not in His permissive will. For being in His permissive will, as the sinner or the world is, does not save us nor protect us. For only in the center of His perfect will for our lives, will we be under His grace, be able to remain in Him, in His holy presence, succeed in life, be saved from eternal damnation and be protected. For remember that when we are right in our own eyes and order our own steps in life without Him, we end up in hell, also at the wrong place at the wrong time here on earth and even die before our time appointed according to the Lord's will or perfect will for us, as our Beloved Savior and Lord Jesus Christ tells us through His beloved servant King Solomon in Proverbs 14:12 "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." And through our brother Paul, our beloved Apostle in Christ, as we read in Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
For being wise in our own eyes results in death! For remember that to be carnally minded is death, as we read in Romans 8:6-10 "For to be carnally minded is death: but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness." And this is why our God the Father commands us to acknowledge Him in all of our ways, so He can order or direct our paths or lives and our steps. Also to not be wise in our own eyes, depart from evil, to cease from our own wisdom, as we also seek to be rich in this world and it is a sin before Him because it shows that our hearts are not right before Him, as we read in Proverbs 3:5-7 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil." And in Proverbs 23:4 "Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom." For only in the center of the Lord's will for us can He protect us from the wiles of the enemy and remain in His will or plan for our lives, as I mentioned before.
For remember that the devil's plan for humanity is to steal, kill and to destroy, as the Lord tells us in the Gospel of John in John 10:9-10 "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." For as you abide and remain in our Beloved and Sweet Jesus, you abide under the shadow of His wings or within His protection, and He keeps us from evil, as He promises us in Psalm 91, as it is a beautiful Psalm to read often and a promise of His faithfulness and protection to us in times of calamities and fear in the world, but we will read Psalm 91:1-4, to refresh our memory. "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust. Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with His feathers and under His wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler."
So daily abide in God, be strong, have no fear or do not live in fear and remain in the center of His perfect will for you, so you can always be saved, safe and not die without Him. For remember that the Lord alone is our Savior in this world and not ourselves, nor man, nor the things that we possess in this world. For naked we came into this world and naked we will depart from it, when it is our time, as we read in one of the Books of wisdom in the Bible in Ecclesiastes 5:15 "As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand." So please be wise and do not put your trust or hope in riches, people and things, but in GOD alone, through His Beloved Son Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world.
On this day let us also remember to daily consider our ways before our God, or to make sure that we daily examine ourselves by or through His Word to make sure that we are in right standing with Him and not in sin. For we know not when our time is up on this earth, for life is short and death comes to us unannounced and we must be always ready to stand before God Almighty. For what man considers good and right, is evil in the sight of the Lord. For remember that His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts higher than our thoughts, as He tells us in Isaiah 55:8-9 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." For without holiness, no man will see Him, when man dies, as we read in the Book of Hebrews in Hebrews 12:14-17 "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birhright. For ye know that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears."
For remember also that once a man dies, afterwards comes the Judgment of God, as we are promised in Hebrews 9:27-28 "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation."
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God, as we read by the Lord through the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 3:19-20 "For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain." So consider and change your evil ways before the Lord and it is too late to do so for you, as the Lord commands us in the Book of the Prophet Haggai 1:5-7 "Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways. Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways." And in Jeremiah 26:13, the Lord commands us again, pleads with us, and warns us for our salvation and success in life. "Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will repent Him of the evil that He hath pronounced against you."
For judgment always follows when we serve sin and are in rebellion against the Lord. For remember that our sin finds us out, as we read in Numbers 32:23, when Moses warned the Israelites if they did not go to fight with their brethren across the Jordan river to help them conquer the Land of Canaan or Israel that the Lord would judge them for their negligence and not keeping their word or promise. "But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the Lord; and be sure your sin will find you out." For living in sin does not causes us to prosper spiritually and physically. For it affects our health, loved ones and our lives. For when we are dead spiritually or in sin and trespasses, we then die physically before our time. For remember that the Lord has promised in His Word that the wicked or those who do not fear Him will be cut off. For the Lord is our life, the Bread of Life and Fountain of Living Waters, both spiritually and physically and when we obey Him, we are fruitful in our lives and in all of our works. And most importantly: we have peace, His peace that surpasses all understanding, because He lives in our hearts and spirits. Blessed be His Holy, Mighty and Precious name now and forever more!
So remember that the world can only give death, sorrow, sin, lies and not hope. For true and secured hope is only found in God, through His Beloved Son Jesus Christ. So don't fall for the lies of Satan, for if the world had all of our answers to our questions and problems, we would have all made it fine through life without God, without problems, a long time ago and would not need Jesus, our Savior! But no! The answer is ONLY found in Jesus, the Sweet Lover of our souls!
God bless you, go with God, have a blessed, joyous and peaceful day and week. Remembering that we are always rich or complete in Jesus, and not in the blessings that we have or that He gives us. For He gives us those blessings to assist us in life and make our lives easier, but the salvation, faith, hope, joy, peace, wholeness, true friendship, true love, intimacy and faithfulness is ONLY in Him, our Sweet Savior and Almighty God! And as we are living in these last days and now more than ever need God, for His counsel, direction and wisdom, remember to daily seek Him, love on Him and be ready for His Second Coming and when HE requires your soul, for tomorrow is not promised. So be as the wise virgins who had their lamps filled with oil, (who is the anointing of the Mighty and Precious Holy Spirit), and were expectant of their Bridegroom, as we read by the Lord in the Parable of the five wise and five foolish virgins, who trimmed their lamps or the Word of God in Matthew 25:1-13 "Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made. Behold, the bridegroom cometh, go ye out and meet Him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with Him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But He answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh."
So be ready always to give Him an account of your life! Daily seek Him, abide in Him and remain hungry and thirsty for God, always!
