Daily Repenting Of Our Sins To Jesus!

Updated: Oct 6, 2020

Good day to you my beloved brother or sister in our Faithful, Loving and Blessed Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, our Elder Brother and Sweet Lover of our souls! It is my prayer that you have had a blessed week and that this devotion finds you well, standing tall and strong in your faith and daily walk with God. For remember that we must stand in our faith and for whom we believe in and also stand, after we have done all to stand in our faith in God and in the liberty that the Lord has made us free and never be entangled again with any yoke of bondage, as we read by the Lord, through His beloved servant and our brother Apostle Paul in Galatians 5:1 "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage."

For remember that the anointing of Jesus upon us, through His Faithful and Powerful Holy Spirit breaks the yoke of bondage that the devil tries to inflict upon us, as the Lord promises us in the Book of Isaiah the Prophet in Isaiah 10:27, as this is also a prophecy for the future, for he will not be able to ever touch us again, when the Lord comes back for us at the Rapture of the Church or when He requires our own soul to go to Him in heaven. "And it shall come to pass in that day, that his (the devil's) burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing."

So remain free in Jesus and do not entangle yourself again with any yoke of bondage, which is the bondage of sin and death that the devil tries to put upon you again. For there's nothing like being free and in Jesus alone, we are always free and not in no one or in anything else in this world. For remember that the old man has been crucified with Jesus at the Cross and the body of sin and death is no longer alive in us, but died with Jesus at the Cross. For this is why the Apostle Paul knew in his heart and also tells us in Galatians 2:20 "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me." And remember to also continue to be strong in Jesus and to stand strong in your faith in Him even through persecution.

On this day let us also remember to confess our sins unto the Lord daily and as we see and hear ourselves fall short of His glory, through the sins that we commit against Him un-willfully throughout the day. For we do not want to die in our sins, but in right standing with God, for this is why the Apostle John tells us in 1 John 6-10 "If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth. But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us."

For even unclean thoughts against the Lord or against someone, which are ungodly thoughts of the flesh and contradict the Lord's Word and Holy Ways, are also considered sins before the Lord, whether we have actually committed them physically or not before the Lord. For He hears the thoughts of our hearts and remember that the Lord looks upon our hearts, as He told His servant and Prophet Samuel in 1 Samuel 16:7 "But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the ouward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart."

For if we have been born again, sin no longer has dominion over us to keep us in bondage, by serving sin and for us to sin against the Lord and one another willfully, but because we are still in a sinful body of flesh or because sin still dwells in us, we will continue to fall short of His glory un-willfully and sometimes willfully, as the flesh fights against the spirit or inner man that has been birthed by the Spirit of God and also against Him (the Holy Spirit of God), who dwells in us. And this is why we must daily repent and confess those sins unto Him in prayer, so we can be washed in His Precious blood and our sins washed away from us and be forgiven by God.

But remember that we must also turn away from our sins and listen to the Lord Jesus, as He told the woman caught in adultery, as we read in the Gospel of John in John 8:10-11 "When Jesus had lifted up Himself, and saw none but the woman, He said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more."

So don't go back into sin, after the Lord has forgiven you, for then you will be sinning against Him willfully, and there will be no more sacrifice for your sins, as we are told by the Lord through the Apostle Paul in Hebrews 10:26 "For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins."

For the Lord has already done everything that He needed to do and could do to save our souls from hell and restore our relationship with God the Father and with the Holy Trinity, so don't be weighed in the balance of God in heaven and be found wanting, because of your sinful lifestyle and un-confessed sins.

For in order for us to have fellowship with Him, we must be walking in holiness or in the light, as He is in the light, as we just read, by the Apostle John and abide in the fear of the Lord all the day long.

For repentance keeps us free spiritually and from being condemned and also free from the enemy of our souls. For as we repent, the Lord removes our sins as far as as the east is from the west from us, as He promises us in Psalm 103:12-14 "As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth His children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear Him. For He knoweth our frame; He remembereth that we are dust." And has also promised us to never remember our sins anymore, as we read in Hebrews 8:12 "For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more." Thank you Lord for your compassion and great mercies. Blessed be your holy name!

Go with God, have a blessed, joyous and peaceful week, remembering that as the Lord's beloved people, we must cast down all imaginations or evil thoughts that enter our minds against the Lord and against one another, even those doubts of His promises concerning our lives that He has promised us, as we read in 2 Corinthians 10:5 "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled."

For remember that we must walk by faith and not by sight and not lean upon our own understanding, as His ways are higher than our ways, His thoughts higher than our thoughts and as His understanding is infinite, as we read in His Word. For we must also bring our bodies into subjection and in obedience to the Lord, as our beloved brother Paul the Apostle did in his lifetime and we read in 1 Corinthians 9:27 "But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway."

So for the sake of His blessed and holy name and for the sake of our souls, let us daily stay submitted to the Lord and repent of our sins unto Him, so we can remain in right standing with the Sweet Lover of our soul and make it to heaven. As He alone is truly worthy of our friendship, commitment, admiration, love and faithfulness, as He will never turn on us, leave us nor forsake us, especially when we need Him and His help the most in our lives! Blessed be His holy name!
