Knowing God Intimately!

Knowing God Intimately! By Nanyamka Boyer

Good day to you my beloved brother or sister in our Beloved Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, our Wisdom in Life and Beloved Elder Brother. It is my prayer that this devotion and blessed day finds you well, both spiritually and physically, you and your loved ones. And are full of hope, faith and courage in your walk with our Blessed Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, our light in this dark world. For we know that in His amazing grace, everlasting and faithful love, we find the strength, comfort, courage, faith, love and hope for us to rely upon and see us through life and through our troubles. For we have eternal hope and salvation in and through Him. For He is the only Friend that sticks closer than a brother in this world, as we are promised in the Book of Proverbs, by King Solomon in Proverbs 18:24 "A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother."

So you are not alone, especially in your struggle, for you have a God who greatly loves you, cares about you and for you and will be faithful to you until the end of your time here on earth or time in this world, as He is always with you and I, as He promises in the Gospel of Matthew in Matthew 28:20 "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." So have faith or the faith of God in your heart and life, do not rely upon your feelings and upon what the devil tells you, through your own mind and others, as he is a liar and the father of lies and never give up your hope and faith in God!

On this day let us remember to know God or Jesus intimately and not through others, but through ourselves, by daily seeking Him. For being a Christian is about having an intimate relationship with your Beloved God, Savior, Lord and Loving Creator, through His One and Only Begotten Son: Jesus Christ! For as you daily spend time with Him, you get filled up with His presence, love, hope, courage and healing, as our beloved King David understood and wrote about his cup running over in Psalm 23:5 "Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over." And are able to truly know Him, know what is of Him and what is not, because you will know His heart and will be His friend like the Beloved Apostle John was to Him who laid on His breast at the Last Supper. For He also completes you and I, satisfies your deep hunger and thirst for Him. For remember that all things, including ourselves, were created by Him and for Him, as it says in the Book of our beloved Apostle Paul in Colossians 1:16-17 "For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist."

And when we don't seek Him and do not abide in Him, we are thirsty and hungry souls who try to fill that void in our hearts and lives that only He can fill with addictions, demanding others to love us and pay attention to us, shopping, prostituting ourselves sexually and spiritually to be loved, accepted and complete. For this is why He says and we read in the Gospel of John in John 6:35 that He is the Bread of Life: "And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst." And in Jeremiah that He is the Fountain of Living Waters, as we read in Jeremiah 2:13 "For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns that can hold no water." As we are also encouraged and invited to drink from His Water of Life in the Book of John the Apostle in Revelation 22:17 "And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." For the more you draw to the Lord and spend time with Him, you become like Him and believe His testimony or report instead of what people say to you about you and your circumstances that is not Biblical or the truth about Him and of His Word, which is His promise to you and I. For remember that it is the truth that sets us free and not the lie of the enemy through his demons and children in this world, as they speak lies into our ears and minds. For this is why we are commanded to cast down every imagination and every high thing that exalts itself and speaks evil and above the Word of God in our lives and hearts in 2 Corinthians 10:5-7 "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ's, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ's, even so are we Christ's." For the Word of God is the ONLY truth in this world and that sets us free!

For as you also spend time with Him in intimacy you also get to find out if you are in right standing with Him or not, as He will show you the things you need to change and consider in your life that you are falling short of His glory in. For remember that He weighs us in His balance, as He did with King Belshazzar, the King of Babylon, when he brought the golden vessels that were taken out of the temple of the house of God that was in Jerusalem and he and his princes, his wives and concubines drank from them, as we read in Daniel Chapter 5, but we will read what the Lord told him, as the Prophet Daniel interpreted the writing on the wall that the Lord wrote and gave him in Daniel 5:25-28 "And this is the writing that was written, ME-NE, ME-NE, TE-KEL, U-PHAR-SIN. This is the interpretation of the thing: ME-NE: God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. TE-KEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting (or lacking). PE-RES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians." So seek Him, spend time with Him, one on one, so you can see if you are truly in right standing with Him, for remember that He alone is the Judge of this world and the Judge of your life!

For remember that even Jesus sought the Father to spend time with Him, as we read in the Gospel of Mark in Mark 1:35 "And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, He went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed." For this He did for fellowship and intimacy with the Father and for direction. So we must too if we are to survive and overcome our flesh, sin, the devil, his children and the wicked ways of Satan in this world. For without Him we perish, as the flesh is weak and the devil is too strong for us. But with Jesus in our hearts, spirits and lives, we can do all things through Him who strengthens us to overcome our flesh and the enemy, as HE is with us, for us and not against us, as Paul the Apostle understood and wrote in Philippians 4:13. For when we don't spend time with Him to know Him and fill up, you and I become vulnerable to the enemy, religious, lose the Holy Spirit, His anointing and are naked and without Him before Him in this world.

Go with God, stay faithful and close to Jesus, always, your Beloved, Strong and Faithful Loving Savior. Have a blessed joyous and peaceful week, remembering that as you draw close to Jesus, He will draw close to you and show you things to come, so you are ready when they come to pass and not be caught off guard. For we must be ahead of the devil in all things and not behind him! For we are to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves in this world, as the Lord says and commands us to be in Matthew 10:16 "Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves."

For remember that it is wisdom, who is the Lord Jesus Christ, who gives life to those who have His wisdom in this world, as we read in one of my favorite scriptures in the Holy Bible in Ecclesiastes 7:12 "For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it." So love wisdom and truth who is the Lord, so you can always be His and not a stranger to Him, when you call upon His name to save you from your trouble in the day of trouble and attack of the enemy! And remember that when you spend time with Jesus, your time is never wasted and you also spend time with your Heavenly Father, God the Father: God Almighty and with the Holy Spirit! Blessed be His holy name! For we can never lose with and in God, for He is ALL things unto us and for us! Oh how I love Him so... The Sweet Lover Of Our Souls!
