Leaning Not On Our Own Understanding! By Nanyamka Boyer
Good day my beloved brother or sister in our Beloved, Blessed, Strong and Faithful Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, our Lily in the valley. For if it wasn't for Him to brighten our days with His love and Word of encouragement to give us hope and strength, we would not have the strength to make it from point A to point B in life, as sometimes life gives us a time of deep sorrow. But as it is written in His Word, by our beloved brother and mighty King David in Psalm 27:1-3 "The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident."
It is my prayer that all is well with you and your loved ones on this day, both spiritually and physically, especially in these dark times. And that you find refuge and comfort in the Lord God Almighty, for He is for us and not against us, as only He can hide us under His wings from the storms of life and loves us unconditionally. For He is always ready to help us, as we call upon His Precious, Blessed and Mighty Name and ask Him for help. For remember that those who call upon the Lord shall be saved, not only for our souls to be saved from the damnation of hell, but also from our storms or troubles in life, as it is written by our beloved brother and Apostle Peter in Acts 2:21 "And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." And by the Apostle Paul in Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." So call upon His Blessed and Powerful Almighty Name, so your soul and life can be saved, before it's too late and do not settle for what the devil throws at you in life. For as it is written in the Book of Psalms, by our beloved brother King David that the Lord is a very present help in times of trouble in Psalm 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
On this day let us remember to trust in the Lord our God and not lean upon our own understanding, as He commands us to do in Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding." For when we do, we open the door in our minds and hearts to the devil to cause disbelief in God and to discourage us in our faith and walk with God. For we must as His beloved children be strong and trust in His wisdom, for His understanding is infinite, as it is written in Psalm 147:5 "Great is our Lord, and of great power: His understanding is infinite." And His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts higher than our thoughts, as it is written by Him in the Book of Isaiah the Prophet of God in Isaiah 55:8-9 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."
The Lord once told me to not try to figure His ways out, because we will not be able to understand them. For we must be strong and remember that this is what the Lord means, when He tells us and also commands us through the Apostle Paul to walk by faith and not by sight in 2 Corinthians 5:7 "(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)" and our feelings, because what we see and feel will deceive us, as it is not the full picture or plan of God for our lives. And we must trust that the Lord is always in control of our lives and has a good plan in and for our lives. For this is why He says to His beloved Saints in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." And as the Lord reminds me, so I can give it unto you of what He says through King David in Psalm 31:15-16 "My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me. Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies sake." For our times are in His hand at all times.
So let us trust in His knowledge and in His Mighty wisdom, for the Lord uses the ugly things in our lives, as He did with His beloved servant Job, as we learn and read from the Book of Job in the Bible, that all things work together for our good, as He promises us by our beloved brother the Apostle Paul in Romans 8:28-29 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. For whom (the Saint or believer in Him) He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren." And that He is also a God of Restoration and will restore our joy, our peace, laughter, wisdom, knowledge and understanding, when we have come out of that trial and comes through for us with the answers to our prayers. For this is why He promises us in Isaiah 40:28-31 "Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of His understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
Go with God, have a blessed, joyous and peaceful week, always remembering that the Lord is with you, will never leave you nor forsake you even in your darkest hour and that His Blessed and Mighty hand is stretched out still to save you and help you, as He promises us in Isaiah 9:17 "Therefore, the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still." And that His joy is your strength, as He also promises us through the Governor Nehemiah in Nehemiah 8:10 "Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our LORD: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength." And thank you Jesus! Blessed be your Holy and Sweetest Name!
So stay strong in your faith and walk with God and never give up upon God and never give in to the enemy! And wait until the Lord comes to you spiritually and strengthens your heart, as He promises that He will do in Psalm 27:14 "Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD." Blessed be His holy name, for never leaving us alone, especially when we need Him the most and for always giving us hope through His Beloved Son Jesus Christ! Have a blessed day in and with God!
