Not Be Found Lacking In The Lord's Balance! By Nanyamka Boyer
Good day to you my beloved brother or sister in our Faithful Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, our Lily of our valleys, Strong Tower and Refuge from the storms of life! May this devotion find you abiding in the Lord, in good health and strong both spiritually and physically in your faith and walk with God, as we continue to walk through the valley of the shadow of death. For remember that in the Lord we find the strength we need to see us through life and our trials and tribulations, for He is a very present help in times of trouble, as it is written by our beloved brother King David in Psalm 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
And is also a God who is close at hand and not afar off to us, as He says in Jeremiah 23:23-24 "Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not afar off? Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD." For He is the way to the Father in Heaven, the way for our spiritual growth and successful spiritual and physical life on earth and the way out of our trials and tribulations. So seek Him, so He can help you and provide for you what you are in need of, for remember that in this world we will have tribulation, as the Lord tells us in the Gospel of John in John 16:33 "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." And for as long, as we are in this world, we will daily be in need of His help to see us through life. So use wisdom and do not settle for less or for what the enemy gives you, but for the best the Lord has for you and for your life! Blessed be His holy name!
On this day let us remember that we not only need the Lord to help us with our daily needs, but also for the saving of our souls. For we must not be found wanting or lacking in His balance as King Belshazzar was found, as we read Daniel 5:22-28 "And thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine heart, though thou knewest all this; But hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of His house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified: Then was the part of the hand sent from Him; and this writing was written. And this is the writing that was written, ME-NE, ME-NE, TE-KEL, U-PHAR-SIN. This is the interpretation of the thing: ME-NE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. TE-KEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. PERES: Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians."
So let us not be right in our own eyes, but daily examine ourselves in His Word, the Holy Bible and make sure that we are in right standing with the Lord, before it is too late for our souls to make it to heaven. For remember that we are all naked before the Lord, as no-thing is hidden from His eyes, as we just read earlier in Jeremiah 23:24, and He knows whether we are following Him and obeying His Commandments or not. For this is why He says in Proverbs 21:2 "Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts." And as Christians we know that the Lord's ways are not our (or man's) ways, neither are His thoughts our thoughts, as He says in Isaiah 55:8-9 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." This is also why He tells us in Revelation 2:2-5 "I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent."
And as the Lord reminds me to give you this scripture, so I do in which He says in Haggai 1:5-7 "Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways. Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink, ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages, earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes. Thus saith the LORD of hosts: Consider your ways." So let us be wise and take heed to His Word, before we end up being cut off from the earth, as so many are now, for not fearing the Lord and for not surrendering their hearts and lives unto Him, by accepting the sacrifice of His Son on the Cross and accepting Him in their hearts and lives, as their own personal Savior and Lord. For tomorrow is not promised, and things are not going to be as they used to be in this world, no matter what man says, for more calamities are yet upon the horizon until His Second Coming on the Mount of Olives, as the Lord has told me. And if we are found wanting before the Lord, know that we will perish in hell, for disobeying Him and for being wise and right in our own eyes. So as the Lord says in Jeremiah 26:13, so I write: "Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will repent Him of the evil that He hath pronounced against you."
Go with God, have a blessed week. Please obey Him and do not worry about others following Him or not, for when is all being said and done, we will all stand before Him alone and will have to give Him an account of our lives. For remember what is written in Romans 14:11 "For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God." And in Revelation 20:11-15 "And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away, and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
