Our Righteousness In God Through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Pays Off!

Updated: Jan 28, 2024

Good day to you my beloved brother or sister in our Strong Loving Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, our Light in this world and in the darkness. It is my prayer that this devotion finds you well, full of faith and courage in the Lord and that you are not giving up, but are still strong in and with the Lord. For we must be or abide in the Lord to be able to have strength, also His strength and find what we need in life, whether it is spiritually or physically, as we read in Psalm 56:10 "In God will I praise His word: in the LORD will I praise His word." For it is the Holy Spirit who does all things for us and through us that we must do concerning God and seeking God. For it takes God to worship and serve God, and He does it through us and for us, through His Faithful and Mighty Holy Spirit. For this is why the Lord Jesus says in the Gospel of John in John 15:5 that: "I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."

Also remember that as Christians we have full access into the throne of God to seek our God's face, love, comfort and help, as we are encouraged to come boldly before His throne of grace to find mercy and the help we need in our times of need and trouble, as we have our Beloved High Priest: Jesus, who is touched with the feeling of our weaknesses and intercedes for us before the Father in Heaven, as we are told by our beloved brother Paul the Apostle in Hebrews 4:15-16 "For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." So ask the Lord to help you in your life for all of your needs to be met, whether they are spiritual or physical, as you live in Him, for Him and through Him, and know that the Lord, as He has told me is interested in our small and big concerns in life. So don't be prideful nor afraid to seek Him and to cast all of your cares upon Him, for He cares for you or about you, as our beloved brother and Apostle Peter wrote in 1 Peter 5:7 "Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you."

On this day let us also remember that we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus our Lord, as our beloved Paul the Apostle says in Romans 3:21-22 "But now the righteousness of God without law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference." And in 2 Corinthians 5:21 "For He (God the Father) hath made Him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him." For His blood shed on the Cross for us and His righteousness or sinless life before the Father is put upon us like a robe and covers us, also our sins and imperfections before God (the Holy Trinity) and puts us in right standing with God, the Beloved and Mighty Holy Trinity. For when He sees us, as we daily obey Him, He sees the righteousness of His Beloved and Only Son upon us. For this righteousness and relationship with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ pays off in our lives in the day of trouble and when we die. For the Lord, as I have mentioned before knows how we live our lives before Him, if we are truly His or not and walking in the fear of the Lord. For He also knows about the things we will go through and are going through in our lives and when we call upon Him, especially in the day of trouble, because He knows us and our intimate relationship with Him, He remembers us and our faithfulness to Him, by delivering us.

For living in sin separates us from God and makes us estranged from Him. For this is why we read in the Psalm by the Father through our Beloved King David in Psalm 50:15 "And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me." For the sinner because of their rebellion against God, when they are judged by Him to turn them from their sins, do not receive His help and mercy for mocking Him unless it is their prayer of repentance. For this is also why we read by God the Father, as He pleads with us in Proverbs 1:23-33 "Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. Because I have called and ye refused: I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil." So use wisdom and stay right with God, so in the day of trouble the Lord can recognize you, and deliver you because of your righteousness in Him, through His Son Jesus Christ! Blessed be His holy name!

Go with God, have a blessed, joyous and peaceful week, remembering that as you remain in right standing with God He will keep you in the day of temptation or trouble, as He reminds me to let you know what He promises His faithful and beloved children, His true Saints in the Book of Revelation in Revelation 3:10-11 "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown." So as Jesus is to us faithful every day, remain faithful to Him until the end of time and of your life and never give up in your faith and love for God Almighty, no matter what the devil throws at you! For remember it is the one who finishes the race who overcomes him (the devil) and not the one who gives up and quits along the way, as we read in Revelation 12:11 "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." And in 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 "Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway."
