Remain Filled With The Holy Spirit!

Updated: Jan 28

Good day to you my beloved brother or sister in our Faithful and Awesome, Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, our Way Maker in life! It is my prayer that this devotion finds you well and strong in the Lord, you and your loved ones, both spiritually and physically and full of the faith of the Lord, for He alone is our faith and hope in life. For remember that although we at times walk into and through the valley of the shadow of death, the Lord is with us, strengthening us, comforting us and also through others, and encouraging us, as our beloved brother and awesome King David wrote in Psalm 23:4 "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me: thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." For He also makes the way of escape for us, by delivering us safely unto the other side from all of our trials and tribulations in our lives. And remember that the key here is, as King David has said is: as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, so remember that we are walking through it and will come out victorious, as the Lord sees to it that we make it through that trial and through life, as we continue to seek His face and abide in Him, through His Faithful and Mighty Holy Spirit without giving up and falling away.

For remember that He is not only the Way to the Father in Heaven, but also the way of spiritual benefits in our lives, when we keep His Commandments and the Way out of all of our trials and tribulations, as He continues to care about us, fight our battles and provide for us our daily needs. So have faith and continue to be encouraged knowing that your Heavenly Father knows all about your situation, as He is before all things in this world, greatly loves you and is seeing to it that all things are working together for your good, both spiritually and physically, as our mighty and beloved Apostle Paul wrote in Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose."

On this day let us also remember to remain filled to overflowing with the Lord's Precious and Mighty Holy Spirit, so we can continue to follow His Commandments, seek Him, abide in Him and in His knowledge, wisdom and strength, both spiritually and physically, so we can continue to prosper in this world and in our walk with God. For indeed without the Lord, we are nothing and can do no-thing that is right before His eyes that will bring us spiritual benefit to succeed in this world. For we greatly need Him to enable us to resist the devil, walk by faith and not by sight and make it to heaven. For remember that He alone is the way to the Father in heaven and to heaven. For this is why the Lord tells us in the Gospel of John that apart from Him we can do nothing and also that will benefit us, as we read in John 15:4-5 "Abide in me, and I in you, As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."

For as we continue to abide in Him and in His Word, the Holy Spirit continues to remain in us and we continue to learn from Him His Holy Word and hear His still small voice reminding us of what He has said to us in His Word, as the Lord tells us in the Gospel of John about the Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit in John 14:26 "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." And as we continue to abide in God through His Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit continues to also refill our spirits and our hearts with His presence, so we can continue to worship and praise Him (the Beloved Holy Trinity), so we can continue to remain full of His joy, as we are filled to overflowing with His presence to give us His strength, as He is the and our Fountain of Living Waters, as we read in Nehemiah 8:10 "Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry: for the joy of the LORD is your strength." And in Jeremiah 2:13 "For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns that can hold no water."

For remember that when we remain filled to overflowing with His Holy Spirit, we can serve the Lord well and our spiritual cup continues to run over to give unto others the spiritual water of the life of Jesus, as our beloved and brother King David said in Psalm 23:5, when he spoke about the Lord preparing a table before him in the presence of his enemies. "Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over." And as the Lord tells us and promises us in the Gospel of John in John 7:38 "He that beliveth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water."

So remain filled with His Holy Spirit and do not lose Him, for you need Him and at that daily to keep you faithful to the Lord and put in your walk with God without falling away. For this is why He send Him to us, to help us daily walk with God in all things and in all of His ways that we will ever need in this world to make it. For as He reminds me to write unto you this Word, so I do: that our flesh is weak and we continue to fall short of His glory, as He told His disciples and also to us in the Gospels to pray that we enter not into temptation, for the spirit (the Holy Spirit in us and our spirit man that has been born again) is willing but the flesh is weak, but we will read it in the Gospel of Matthew in Matthew 26:41 "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." But with Him in us, by and on our side, we can obey Him more fully and fall less short of His glory, as we daily continue to carry our crosses and die to our flesh.

Go with God, have a blessed joyous, peaceful and full of courage and of the Holy Ghost week, knowing that in this world, we will often have tribulations, as the Lord told us and continues to tells us in John 16:33 "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." For man as it is written in Job 5:6-7 is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward. "Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground. Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward." But remember that we as Christians and beloved children of God, know and have the faith and hope that can move mountains, through Him.

For our God is greater and bigger than any problem that the devil will throw at us! For as He overcame the devil and this world, so also will we, through His Faithful and Powerful Holy Spirit, as we continue to live, move and have our spiritual walk and being in Him. Blessed be His holy name for not living us comfortless and alone in this world.
