Remain Free In Jesus!

Remain Free In Jesus! By Nanyamka Boyer

Good day to you my beloved brother or sister in our Awesome, Almighty Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, our Comfort and Hope in Life! It is my prayer that this devotion finds you and your loved ones healthy and strong in the Lord, both spiritually and physically. For remember that as Christians we know that our Lord is always with us, loving us and holding onto our hands, seeing to it that all of our needs are daily met in our hearts, souls, bodies and lives! For all we have to do is reach out to Him in prayer and find everlasting comfort, strength, joy, love, faith and hope, as His hand is daily stretched out still to help us and guide us in life, as it is written in the Book of Isaiah the Prophet in Isaiah 5:25 "Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against His people, and He hath stretched forth His hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still."

For even as the Lord judges mankind and His beloved Saints, HE still greatly loves us and His hand is there to help us, if we only cry out to Him and call upon His Almighty Name. For remember that those who call upon the name of the Lord are and will be saved, as we read in the Book of Joel in Joel 2:32 "And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion (now the Church) and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call." Also in Acts 2:21, the Lord through the Apostle Peter repeats it: "And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." And through the Apostle Paul in Romans 10:11-13 "For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek (now the Gentile): for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

So call upon Him and never stop, especially when you need Him and His help the most in your life. For our God is with us and for us and not against us, as He promises through His beloved Apostle Paul in Romans 8:31-34 "What shall we say then to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us."

For our God is a God who is close at hand and not afar off from us, as He is with us through His Faithful and Mighty Holy Spirit, as we know by faith that He is and read in Jeremiah 23:23-24 "Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off? Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD." So go to your God and Heavenly Father for your daily needs, no matter how big or small they are and do not sell the Lord short to help you. And seek Him until you find Him and what you are in need of in your life, whether it is peace, love, comfort, companionship, justice, strength, joy, hope and direction in your life! For we have a BIG God! And His name is Jesus! Our Great I AM and Sweet Lover of our souls!!

On this day let us also remember to remain free in Him and not entangle ourselves again in any kind of yoke of bondage, whether spiritual or physical. For when we put ourselves in bondage spiritually then we are also in bondage physically, as the Lord through His beloved Apostle Paul tell us in the Book of Romans 6:12-18 "Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness."

For as so many are falling away and are getting themselves entangled with the ways and things of the world, they are getting in bondage once again. For this is why the Father tells us to not touch the unclean thing and to separate ourselves from the ungodly, as He says in 2 Corinthians 6:17 "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." And in Revelation 18:4, concerning Babylon or the world it is also written: "And I heard another voice from heaven saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." And as I hear the Lord say, so I remind you of what He says in 1 Corinthians 10:21-23 "Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord (as we partake of Communion or of His body and Holy Blood and the ways of God), and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils."

For we must be holy in all things, as the Lord is holy and commands us in Leviticus 19:2 to be holy. "Speak to all the congregation of the people of Israel and say to them, You shall be holy, for I the LORD your God am holy." Also in Leviticus 20:26, He says: "You shall be holy to me, for I the LORD am holy and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be mine." And in 1 Peter 1:15-19, He repeats it again through His beloved and Holy Apostle: "But as He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation: Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot."

For remember that without holiness, no man will see the Lord, when we die, as it is written in Hebrews 12:14-16 "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fall of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright." For this is why the Lord through Paul the Apostle warns us in Galatians 5:1 to: "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." And these bondages include: believing that we can be saved and obey the Lord without Jesus, the Lord's amazing grace and Holy Spirit or by or through the law of Moses. For remember that grace and truth came to us, through our Lord Jesus Christ, as we read in the Gospel of John in John 1:17 "For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ."

Also the bondages of all forms of addictions, of serving sin and pleasing man and not God, of fellowshipping with religious spirits and also of being in the world instead of in God, by doing the things that the world does and serving the world. For remember what it says in Psalm 1:1 "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungoldy, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in His law doth he meditate day and night." For we must be a people set apart unto the Lord, for the Lord died so that you and I could be free from the enemy of our souls, who is Satan, also from sin, our flesh and the ways of the world that only leads us to death in hell and later on in the Lake of fire and separates us from our Beloved and Loving God! So be wise and take heed!

Go with God, stay close to Jesus, daily! Have a peaceful, blessed and joyful week, remembering that whom the Son of God and the Son of Man, sets free, is freed indeed, as He promises us in the Gospel of John in John 8:34-36 "Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." So daily abide in Jesus, so you as a son or daughter of the Most High God can also abide in Him forever, as He abides and lives in and by the Father and is alive forever more! Blessed be His Holy, Sweetest and Mighty name, always!!
