Wait On The Lord's Justice By Nanyamka Boyer

Good day to you my beloved brother or sister in our Beloved Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, our Lily or Hope of all the valleys of life! It is my prayer that this devotion finds you and your loved ones healthy and strong in the Lord Jesus Christ, both spiritually and physically!

For remember that as we daily walk in and with God, we remain healthy and strong spiritually and physically, especially spiritually and in the center of His perfect will for us, as we read how the steps of the good man or of the righteous man are ordered by the Lord, by our beloved brother King David in Psalm 37:23-24 "The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and He delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand." For as you acknowledge Him in all of your ways, remember that He will direct your paths or life, as we read and He commands us to do in Proverbs 3:6 "In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths." So continue to seek Him daily for His direction and daily provisions for your life.

On this day let us also remember to wait on the Lord's justice in our lives and on this earth and not to take justice or matters into our own hands, for vengeance belongs to the Lord only and not to ourselves, as we are commanded by the Lord through the Apostle Paul in Romans 12:17-21 "Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good."

For remember that it is better for us to suffer for righteousness sake than for evil, and that the eyes of the Lord are over His people, but His face is against them that do evil, as our beloved brother and Apostle Peter tells us in 1 Peter 3:12-17 "For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and His ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing."

For we must obey the Lord at all times and in all things, for remember how the Lord Jesus commands us to not resist evil, but to turn the other cheek to him who strikes us on the right cheek, as we read in the Gospel of Matthew in Matthew 5:38-40 "Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also."

For we must ask the Lord to give us His grace to love our enemies and to endure such afflictions or tribulation and persecutions and for us to not grow bitter and hateful. For we must also seek the Lord and ask Him to show us His will for us in that situation, for sometimes we tend to assume that someone is against us, when they might not be at the moment and is the Lord's will for us to not have what we are pursuing to have, when the answer is no, when He shuts that door.

For we must remember that we are a people that are commanded to daily die to self and yield to the Lord's will for our lives daily and accept it. For remember that the Lord also speaks through circumstances and our circumstances, by opening a door and closing another one.

So be as Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane and yielded to the Father's will, when He asked the Father to let the cup of suffering that He was about to drink to pass from Him, and said to Him: "not my will, but as thou wilt," as we read in Matthew 26:39 "And He went a little farther, and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt."

Go with God, have a blessed, joyous and peaceful week, remembering that the battle spiritually and physically, belongs to the Lord alone and not to us. But that we are to fight with Him and His angels spiritually, as we are commanded on our knees and against the enemy of our souls, who is Satan with the Word of God, that is our Sword of the spirit against him.

And that when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Lord will set up a standard against him, through the Holy Spirit who is within us and with us, as the Lord reminds me to let you know what He promises us in the Book of Isaiah in Isaiah 59:18-19 "According to their deeds, accordingly He will repay, fury to His adversaries, recompence to His enemies; to the islands He will repay recompence. So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him."

And in Jeremiah 9:23-24 the Lord tells us that He is a God who exercises lovingkindness, judgment and righteousness in the earth. "Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD."

So continue to wait on the Lord's justice and to let things go, when people wrong you, by forgiving them and when the Lord's answer is no. And to also remember that as He told the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9 that His grace is enough to sustain us, to live, go through trials and tribulations and walk with Him in this world, so He also promises us. "And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." God bless you and remember to stay strong in and for Jesus, daily!
