Walking In Holiness Before God!

Updated: Jan 28

Good day my beloved brother or sister in our Faithful and Blessed Savior, and Lord Jesus Christ, the One who made the Way for us to make it to heaven and in life and Great Comfort in our storms of life! It is my prayer that this devotion finds you healthy and strong in the Lord, spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically, you and your loved ones, and also strong in your faith and walk with God. For now more than ever, as we continue to live in these last days and see these calamities continue to take place, our redemption draws near and we must stay focused and strong in the Lord, for the sake of His Blessed holy and Powerful Almighty Name and for our salvation, as the days are dark and evil and many continue to fall away from Him and die without the Lord and are ending up in hell.

For the Lord has told us of these things that would come to pass and will continue to happen, as we read in His Word in the Gospel of Luke 21:28-33 "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. And He spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; when they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away."

But as God's beloved Saints and children, through our Lord Jesus Christ, we do not need to be in fear, as we have His Faithful and Mighty Holy Spirit to sustain us, guide us and prepare us for what is soon to come. For remember that He is the Strength of our lives, as He says through our beloved King David in Psalm 27:1 "The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" And as He gives us His strength and grace, we can do all things through Him, who strengthens us to accomplish our daily tasks on earth and to go through anything He would have us go through, as Paul the Apostle understood and knew, when he wrote it in Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." For His grace is enough to see us through our trials and tribulations in life and will be more than enough to sustain us and carry us through what is soon to come before His Second Coming in the clouds, as I just heard Him remind me, so I can give it to you what He told the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:8-10 "For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong." So fear not and continue to keep your eyes, mind, heart and faith stayed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your life and faith and the Strong Anchor of our souls! Blessed be His holy name!

On this day let us also remember to walk in holiness before the Lord, for we must daily be sure of our salvation if we are going to make it to heaven. For remember that He is a holy God and without holiness, no man shall see Him, as He says in the Book of Hebrews, through our beloved brother and Apostle Paul in Hebrews 12:14-17 "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears."

For as Christians or God's Beloved Saints, we must daily produce or bring forth fruits worthy of repentance before the Lord, as it is written in the Gospel of Luke, by our beloved brother John the Baptist in Luke 3:8 "Bring forth therefore fruits worthy repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham."

For the fruits that we must continue to produce before the Lord and in our lives should be the fruits of the Holy Spirit that the Lord through Paul the Apostle says in Galatians 5:22-25 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit."

So when you see yourself walking in the flesh by seeing the fruits of the flesh in your life and ungodly behavior that are written in Galatians 5:19:21, repent of those sins unto the Lord and turn from them. "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry (this includes the worshipping of one's self, the me myself and I behavior, mentality and attitude), witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelings, and such like of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."

So as the Lord commands us for our own benefit and spiritual well being, so we can stand before His holy presence, when we die and not perish in a burning hell and later on in the Lake of Fire that burns with fire and brimstone, as it is written in His Word that will happen to those who end up in hell, let us do what He says in Leviticus 19:1-2 "And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy; for I the LORD your God am holy." Also in Leviticus 20:7 "Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God." And in 1 Peter 1:15-16 "But as He which called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy."

And in order for us to remain producing fruits of righteousness or the fruits of the Spirit before the Lord, we must continue to daily die to self and abide in Him, as He says for us to do in the Gospel of John in John 15:1-8 "I am the true vine; and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit He taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, He purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples."

Go with God, have a blessed, joyful and peaceful week. Remembering that there's no-thing and no one in this world that is worth for you to lose your soul in hell for, as the Lord has already done all He could do to save our souls from damnation and hell. So be wise, take heed and stay with and in Jesus, always! By daily abiding in Him, obeying Him and keeping His Commandments. For He alone is worthy of our souls, hearts, lives, admiration, praise and worship and all we could ever give Him and is a holy God, Just and a Consuming Fire and commands us to be holy, as He is holy for our own goodness sake. And as He commands us in the Gospel of Luke 21:34-36, so let us remember to also do. "And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."
